Same. Have listened to linkin park since I was little. Always was my favourite band. Hurt like I lost a close friend when I heard he died. Still miss him quite a lot but his music and messages will live on to inspire, entertain and help people for decades to come. They definitely helped me. His lyrics were beautiful, powerful and full of heart.

There's a reminiscence here. Having been in that endless loop of wanting to it all to end, and yet remembering the people I would leave behind, and standing on that precipice for years; I can honestly say that this hits a lot closer to home than I would like. Having grown up in the church, I learned very young that "unconditional" love was very much conditional. That being said, it was at my absolute low and absolute dark, I had actually decided to give up and fade away.
But the miracle and testimony that I get to carry over from that is that I truly found God (or as is so often stated "He found me"; and there is no greater Truth than that). Thirteen years old and prepared to die, I had my "God Moment" where I felt pure, absolute, all-consuming, truly unconditional love for the first time in my life. I can say with absolute certainty that it was God, because nothing else could have pulled me out of my own personal Hell like that.
As always, thank you for your music and the heart you write it with. If I can impart nothing else, know that you strengthen and inspire me, and remind me with every heartfelt song that God is good, and there is a purpose and a plan for us, even if we can’t see it or understand it yet.

I'm normally not much for rap- but you do it well, like everything else you do. You can tell that you mean what you're saying, and the relatively slower pace really helps with that emphasis.
And again, I really love the way you make callbacks in your music. It creates this incredible sense of the beautiful tapestry of the human soul behind it all, living and growing and learning, showing the same core even as its shape is refined. Thank you for another great song.

I got chills when Paranoia came. That was the first song of Yours that I've ever heard and I still bless yt algorithm for this discovery. I'm also a huge fan of Linkin Park, so when I heard music in 1:24 and Your epic rap... well, it all felt like home.
