a lot of people has a life they dont actually sit on their pc all day long doing nothing so it's good that even if you aren't in your home you can still play ff14 even if it's a separate game than the pc still FF14 i play FF14 pc for a couple of years FF is my childhood and i like it and it's a completely separate game but it has all of assets the main game has like storyline bosses raids systems etc etc you'll know that if you have better understanding of what they've announce just like you said it doesn't look appealing for you but it is on someone that's how the world works
dragoon opener on a touchscreen where half your screen is taken up by the skills and buff icons gonna go crazyyyyy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 no, obviously there's no shot they rebuilt the PC game on mobile without requiring a controller or just genuinely having a messy and cluttered screenspace. This will probably feel closer to a redesign like League's Wild Rift (not the greatest example but) where it simplifies movement and controls along the edges of the screen. There's probably also a good reason why this, allegedly, is releasing in China first and the global market afterwards, to test the waters so to speak. But hey, maybe they've used this as an opportunity to make ARR less of a slog at the start? What if this turns out to be the best experience new people will ever get of the base game story?
We don't even know what it's going to be. Just wait and see I guess. If it's a way for me to craft/gather or keep my retainers out on ventures while at work, that'd be sweet.
Its already announced no gacha. The goal is to simply get the game out to as many players as possible. Of course there will be monetization, but i suspect it will be cosmetic.
@@SuperRamos619 Their FFXV city builder isn't gacha either and it's super scummy. Gacha isn't the only way mobile games drain money. SE is also losing money atm, so you never know.
I'll wait and see if the mobile version is good. If not, I'll just stick to Limbus Company. I'll also more than likely wait until Machinist is added if it turns out to be good
if they redcon or dont ad a Dawntrail expansion to this one and just let the mobile version end with Endwalker, i might be able to forget what they have done to us, but the mobile version has to be very good...
I wonder if one day we'll see XIV go the Classic Route like WoW. Though it does not seem as useful for all the cozy and social stuff you can do in game
I don't know much about final fantasy, but if you're making a mobile game of a popular franchise at least do something unique with it, especially if it's such a big franchise like final fantasy, as a big Persona fan I can say that this is not even close to the level of P5X
I thought about this. It was dumb. Then I remind myself of Black Desert mobile. I don’t expect FF14 mobile to look like the PC/console version. It’s way too demanding on the smartphone.
@@BaithNa It won't. Too much hope in that statement. Plus we have to know WHICH phones can be played on FFXIV mobile. Can this game be played on old phones? Also the more graphically intense it is, the more battery it drains, surely you know this right?
People need to relax because you can already play this on your phone through the PS Remote Play app and there's more graphics intense games on mobile so this isn't a big deal at all.
This is what happens when Square Enix uses one game for money and ideas. Now they’re bringing their one successful game down with all this baggage.
I plan to start in Grid in this version so I can play WHM out the gate

This is diablo and command n conquer all over again

It is not linked to the main game, it´s a different game entirely.
Am I surprised? No. Did i want this? No.
Did anyone ask? No.
Seems like a missed opportunity for a spin-off/prequel
why.....
Because money
SE has a horrible record with FF mobile games being super predatory. Hopefully, this will be far less so.

Mtashed will smile for this

This mobile version is essentially FFXIV Classic imo.
not making this somehow tied to your main account.....why??
coz its a rework from a different studio. and its only ARR contents and 9 jobs.

Clear no one realizes how popular mobile gaming is in Japan and other Asian countries. This existing is not surprising.
Yeah it's a massive market doesn't surprise me that they would do something like this
I mean, everybody's got a cell phone, right? 😂
This is a cash grab and nothing else.
Diablo immortal 2.0 vibes.
If they but all the expansion for free i will get the game
Idk a new FF mmo would have been cooler
I have enough mobile games already

No it's not, there's more graphic intense games on mobile and you can already play FFXIV on your phone via the PS Remote Play app.

"More Graphics intense games"
Is that an admission that the game looks like crap, even after the supposed "graphics update"?
