My dad passed away in August of this year. He graduated when this song came out in 1971. This was his favorite song and he introduced me to alice cooper. I play this once a day in honor of my dad. Rip. I'll love you forever pops ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Sorry you loss your dad may he Rest In Peace. My brother graduated in 72 i think and he had the 8 track of this and we loved listening to it. Crazy stuff, Alice Cooper would get plastered on stage and couldn’t stand up forget the words and make it up he didn’t care and put on a wild show. He’s a recovering alcoholic now unless he died, probably took a lot of recovery for him. 😅
Saw Alice Cooper concert last night, sold out, all I can say is, the guy puts on an amazing show. Theatrical horror show with heavy metal, really blew me away. As a teenager in the 70's, I really liked all his hit tunes, but to see him live is something else! Wow!
As an HS Junior, gearhead, pothead, drag racing and AC fan, a bunch of freaks like me all piled into a buddies 57 Ford Fairlane, and went to the local drag strip outside of town where AC was having a concert!! Best time ever to that point!! Love AC then as I do now!! School's out was played over the HS intercom on our final day of school! At our HS, there was no divide between freaks and jocks! The jocks were freaks just as the freaks were (kinda) jocks!! Life was and still is ROCKING!!
My grandson, Boh, turned 18 today (2024 April 05). I sent him this video because I remember playing it when I turned 18 in 1974. Still love Alice Cooper and my grandson Boh!!

I have to say he puts on the best concert for his age he is one rocking guy. The only regret I have when I went to the concert was not getting a close enough seat to the stage he interacts with his fans and even throws out Alice Cooper money to the crowd. I'm going to see him tonight I can't wait to see him again
Absolutely brilliant song. All of Alice Cooper's songs are just so unbelievably good. From the moment I heard his songs for the first time, I was hooked.

My dad was not a fan of heavy metal at all. However he liked this sonf and understood it. Of course I grew up loving these types of songs, there was a divide between the two of us when it came to music, but Alice Cooper seemed to be something could agree with when it came to quality. So thanks Alice Cooper for give me and my dad a branch to talk about.
I love the music and the acting on stage. It was brilliant. Vincent who played Alice Cooper did an excellent job along with his wife Sheryl and his bandmates. Good job guys. Well done.

yep, I think Alice will always be endearing to the younger generation with songs like 18 and schools out. we played school out 35 years ago when I was getting out of high school and I bet they are today.

I was eighteen back in June 2000 when bought Love It to Death - my first ever Alice's album. I was a long-haired student in a leather jacket who just finished his first year of a shitty provincial university. Alice is the real deal. A titan of rock. I hope he'll be alive forever. When I was born 32 years ago, he'd been already an icon for 20 years... This year, I've seen him live, and he's amazing. It was an honor to witness this living legend. Long live Alice!

He definitely does😁
Oct 1st I"m going to my 5th Alice Show.... best showman I've ever seen :)
this is hard rock , not heavy metal
Will he be still alive to sing " I'm Eighty " on stage ? I hope so...
