I thought the difference was a remote that actually has to be pointed at the device vs a remote that can control it without..like in a different room etc
For those that want to know, I plugged my roku into a HDMI port and everything works, So, buying the Android is the best bet, then add the Roku stick.
Also I have an antenna which was scanned and is at your fingertips.
For all of you that have decided to buy this TV recently, a few things. 1) the picture on this thing is great! 2)The TV is extremely easy to setup, especially if you're used to the Android OS. 3) Most importantly and sadly until it gets fixed, you can NOT use external HDDs and USB sticks to expand the "internal" storage. The option is available in the menu but it does not work. I asked Hisense about this on Monday, they got back to me yesterday and basically informed me that the feature simply does not work. That blurb on the box about 4000+ games and apps, just ignore that. You're only going to be able to use as much as you can fit in 4GB of storage. Fot those of you that actually do Android gaming, you can forget Playing Modern Combat 5 or any of the TellTale games on this TV. Those games require at least 5 gigs.
@CARL Rauschkolb personally I would return the Roku TV for Hisense. Android apps overall are better to have.

@@LightyKD_ I heard a lot of complaints about Android lagging and the remote suffering from "Multiple" clicks to move the menu bar along compared to the inbuilt Roku TVs that don't have such lagging issues. How true is this?
@@VanIyke my advice, don't block the IR port in front of the TV. I think a lot of Android TV and FireTV users are used to Bluetooth and WiFi direct remotes that "just work". That's not the case with this TV. Try to keep as little in front of your TV as possible. Sure the Android UI is still a bit slow compared to more recent devices but it's not THAT slow. Besides, how often are you channel/app surfing? As long as you know what you want to do before you turn on the TV, you're fine.

Thank You Thank You!!!!! ...for mentioning the legs of the tv. I have a small desk and it limits what size TV I can get. But knowing I can put it closer together, I think I will buy it now!
Correction... native refresh rate is 60fps. It uses technology to scale to 120fps but I usually turn that off to avoid the “soap opera” effect.
I thought I was the only one lol I hate that effect when I'm watching movies. Its only really good for sports
Fake high refresh is the worst "feature" to have ever been implemented on televisions, even if it's well implemented. You can't market a panel at 120hz if it can't actually render 120fps with a PC as a source.
I must say that I really like the way you laid out everything about the TV it was not difficult You didn't go into a lot of tedious things that people didn't want to know about and I like that where I've checked out other people doing reviews about this model TV they're going into stupid details that no one cares about So keep up the awesome work.

i bought a hisense years ago... it was a great vibrant picture for 6 months and then it turned to shit... hopefully the product has improved alot
This tv is 60hz not 120hz. Motion rate 120 doesn't mean 120hz.

Usually the flickering is from the content itself.
Fps is for content, like games. TVs are measured in hz (refresh rate). Hisene uses "motion rate" to confuse the audience, just as samsung does. This TV has a motion rate of 120 which means it has 60hz.

@@bossladytay87 I have had it for two hours and I am not impressed by the 4k quality. We tried beaming movies and using the TV apps and still saw the pixels. We also had trouble finding were to turn off the store mode and kept getting interrupted by Android TV ads.

My "65 tcl TV died on me right after the warranty expired. Never again. I bought a hisense " 65 to replace it and its been playing great for three years now.
I got this TV for 399 at best buy, i am very satisfied with it. Like the guy said the Android OS cab be laggy at times, I don't care about that as I have and Nvidia shield that I use primarily. Image quality is superb and so is the sound, I never used Hisense before so i did not know what to expect, i was surprise at the quality of the product and will buy Hisense any time.
Now Best Buy is selling it at 249. You'd better price match it bro.

I had a 55 inch Hisense tv for 2 years before the backlight blew and I upgraded to the Hisense 65 inch and I’m just praying the backlight lasts more than 2 years considering I payed $380 for it after taxes

I have it hooked up to my PS5 and it’s great for gaming. Colors pop out nicely and there is low input lag. Buy especially now for the super low price.
Really??? Because I have a Samsung 50' and was worried it would be too big, I sit around 7-8 feet away from the TV. It's on sale right now for $450 at best buy.
@@scarrillo31 it’s big for sure, but it will enhance your experience. Also if your tv stand is smaller, this tv will fit since you can put the stands more towards the center. My tv stand holds up to a 55 in tv and it holds the 70 in without any issues. The weight of the tv is light as well, 46 pounds I believe.
@@Timbo3555 how is the picture quality versus the Samsung? Because if we had the same Samsung, which I am sure we do. The Samsung does not have Dolby Vision, while this Hisense does. I'm not too familiar with Dolby Vision. Does the difference stand out?
Do not buy! I've had 2 new motherboards put in and still have issues. 3 total MBs, it's just a crappy product and hisense won't do anything but continue to send techs to replace MB. It's only 5 months old. Lag is not just his tv, yours will too. Do not buy!

You're clearly mistaking frames per second with the LCD's maximum refresh rate (120hz).
He's a gamer first and a review second I bet.
I want to know if it's actually 120hz native refresh rate, or BS motion flow fake extra frames marketing rubbish they all do.
I just got this tv and the picture is great, the remote is fast response, colors are spot on. But some of the issues is that the remote can’t send ir signal to my lg soundbar and there’s some light bleeding due to the Dolby vision enhanced lighting.
When watching uhd 4k movies from your 4k player my t.v only let's me watch it on Dolby vision brightness. As soon as I try to switch it to Dolby vision darkness it flickers bad . I read people have sane problem and u gotta unplug the t.v for 30 seconds every time u wanna watch it on that mode. It does work. But who wants to keep doing that . I'm going to be returning the t.v this week and look at the TCL 5 series. I heard that's the best budget t.v on the market.
When you pair your Bluetooth headset will it pick up the bluetooth audio for xbox live gaming?

I have a " Hisense tv 40eu300. While I am watching it. The SOUND will go to MUTE for no reason. Then I have to turn the TV off and then back on to get the SOUND back. Can you help me with this problem? Awesome video thanks for sharing it.

I want to buy a new tv for my parents. It'll be a gift for christmas 'cause they have the same tv since a decade : an LG LV3500 (2011 product).
But I'm not rich 😅 so I spotted these 2 options :
•Hisense 55" H78G (Canada, but in USA it's H6570G) on Amazon for 528$
•TCL 50" 5-series (535, 2020) on Amazon for 529,99$
Which one is better for an all purpose using in a living room. Utilisation is 40% day, 60% evening/night.

TCL has been selling a lot of tvs as well hisense is still working on their user interfaces a lot. My h65 freezes sometimes and it's a bit laggy but everything else is great.

I noticed or the front of this tv it seems like there is actully a thin layer of glass over the whole front of it...seems like a big phone screen without touch screen capabilities...super nice edgeless display design and high quality design

You had quite a few issues with how you presented the information, like speaking too quick and sound rushed. Also you said quite a few things about the TV that were just down right wrong... like the frame rate of the TV ect.
Please let me know if there is a model number of Hisense TVs equipped with Google TV that can display two screens.

From I've heard on a tech podcast, other than the name. However, is that TV 120hz? This one is 60hz. And LG have hdmi 2.1, one of the few brands that has it. That allows you to run 4k at 120hz, most will max you out at 1440p at 120hz, which is still amazing
I think if you maje sure your apps are all updated they should load faster. All of mine load faster than on my Roku.

I have the 50 inch model of the TV and it's really good and video games look really great on it
I have the 50" model I find it a bit laggy so almost use the memory clean function daily to make it more responsive. It has froze on me a couple of times where yourube video keeps playing but is totally unreaponsive to the remote and since it has no physical buttons I end up unplugging from electric outlet.

You must have got a bad one out of the bunch because I have it and I've not had any of those issues with that it runs great everything I said about it and it's true try going and replacing it with a new one
