I am so glad they have white lines painted to keep people away from the horses and guard. Some still don't respect the boundaries. They are all guests in that country. They should act like guests and have more respect.
At least if the guards are not prepared to tell tourists not to cross the lines at least make them stop mauling prodding poking scratching and pulling the reins which must confuse the poor animal, given the amount of tourists that do this even for one hour so many hands it a wonder they don't take off.for a short while while the rules were being enforced we had very calm horses, many people watching these video's will agree with me.
It honestly wont matter what color the lines are painted! If not enforced the tourists and anyone else will continue to swarm all over it! If one person disobeys the rules then everyone else does the same damn thing! I am so disheartened by the disrespect and lack of enforcement by some of the guards and the hoards of disobedient that I do not want to watch anymore. I think perhaps the guards feel overwhelmed by it all too. After all it seems to do no good to yell and scold those rule breakers, when they keep disobeying the rules and disrespecting the guards and their horses over and over again. After all this is a military post and the soldiers deserve every respect and admiration due them.
They have no authority to enforce any rules in a public area. All they can do is shout at the public, and if the public ignore them (which they're fully entitled to do in a public area) they just look stupid.
if you don't like what you are seeing email the BBC about doing a news story of the disrespect the horses and guards receive and the fact that certain guards don't enforce the rules. If enough people complain they investigate and do a story, it brings light to the situation. I watched the podcast interview of Peter Ellis and he was reprimanded, disciplined as he said for stepping closer to a father who's son has down syndrome. The father told his son not to be too close to Peter while they had their picture taken, Peter took a step close to the son for a better picture. He was punished for it, yet here are new rules and these troopers do nothing. I received a response from Household Cavalry that "the troopers are allowed to use their own discretion" when it comes to crowding, touching, feeding and basically disobeying the new rules. Double standard.. HCAV seems to flip flop daily about what is acceptable and not. It was the thousands of us viewers I believe who voiced our concerns with comments and emails to do something about protecting the horses. guess we have to continue to make HCAV accountable for their actions or in -actions.
Merci pour les précisions. Les gardes montrent souvent et timidement leur bon sens et coeur ! Le public est d’un égoïsme et incorrection totale . Merci à ces hommes ,les gardes ! Monique 🇫🇷
@@cindyling-m4w No "flip-flop" - you were told the score, which the Army have already made public, and you think you know better. Pure ignorance on your part.
There's a saying that goes: "You teach people how to treat you." The guards, by their absolute inaction when it comes to following rules, have taught the tourists not to respect them! I've definitely lost a ton of respect for them. If you can't respect rules, including protecting your horse, and you allow tourists to break them, it's hard to show respect. It's easier to see them as pitiful and small little "soldiers." Sad, but true.
If you don't want the general public in the square, then why have you allowed them to gather there in the first place? It's all an act, folks, and you are being played for the sake of the drama.
And the tourists who are crossing the white line...why don’t the guards react ?!? I don't understand...
I don't think anyone does.
It does my head in why don’t they tell them to get back 😡😡😡
Think the msg has finally been passed own to the Guards (Blues) by their boss.
Probably sick to death of repeating themselves
@@gaeleenvandenbergh I would be if I were one of them , indeed...
What the heck is going on at Horse Guards today...did someone leave the asylum doors open? Disgusting behaviour. Who were the two with the flags?.
Those doors are always open here in the Netherlands, not to keep them in but to let them in 😠

"All guests"? Who invited them? What about the British tourists?
King's Guard 💂♂️, beautiful 🐎, this is why tourists come to London Britain 🇬🇧
The box should have RED lines to really stand out and the guards enforcing the rule
I think the white lines are OK but maybe some red x's would help and this would also blend in with the sign already in place.
They can't "enforce the rule" - they have no authority over the public in a public area. None.
They're still going in the box its wrong
I totally agree !
The order has to come from their Corp of Horse or above.
Good morning. Such beautiful hosrsey's
I wish you would time stamp it
They should print STAY OUT in red letters on the white lines!
Bom dia para todos .....❤

I honestly believe some of the idiots think they are supposed to stand inside of white lines.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
What is the holdup? We need John to let us know what's going on....
Wrong Utube channel.
Police need to do a better job. They say “ Get behind the lines” Then don’t move the ones stood near the horse at the side.

Kings guards have become incapable of making a simple request
Excellent
Why don't they kick them out of the box?
Because that would be assault.
Lame Guard, can’t protect the horse!

Inside the white line is the best spot to take a picture, that’s according to these illiterates. 😂

The guards are supposed to remain immobile
@@SuzanneUthen they’re gonna have to post some extra guards who *can* maintain the rules and tell people to keep their distance.

How long is each horse kept in the box to guard
1 hour
1 hr
The enforcement of the rules are so inconsistent it becomes easy to to lose trust in the horse guards.
Will not happen
The rules are perfectly consistent - you simply don't know what they are.
Of course you are ... get a life.
Disgusting
