    Partslist as requested.
15 kv high voltage diod hv rectifier 2CL2FL
15 kv 1000PF High voltage ceramic capacitor
You can use any arc lighter. All of the arc lighters that I've used have been the same on the inside.

I think you have done a great job using the arc lighter to drive the voltage multiplier as well as one lipo battery! You can use SMD capacitors for your voltage multiplier as well and avoid circuit boards by soldering the components together point to point with some jumper wires as needed. That will save more than half of the weight of the circuit.
If you use extremely thin linear emitter wire, like a hoop in front of the ring, it will produce similar thrust with much less power. Also, a larger gap is more efficient. Any significant glow that can be seen in the dark is a power loss, although it looks nice. There are about 40 videos of ion propelled vehicles with onboard power on my channel, and a video of a lightweight power supply that creates adequate power to lift itself.
Thanks again for your wonderful video!

Good job. What you see are electrons that have 1800 times smaller than protons. Now you should to modify your circuit to ionize the atoms and accelerate them. With an axial magnetic field, you'll reduce the diameter of particles beam in the same mode of a nozzle in a rocket.
Remember the positive atoms are charged when them are out of your device you have to neutralize the positive charge by emission of othe electrons out of the device. If not so the thrust reduces to zero because the positive chargers prevent other positive charges from escaping from the device.

Now if we can just get them to work in the vacuum of space. Not a lot of particles floating around out there without brining it with you.

Check out the M2P2 from NASA. Mini-magnetospheric plasma propulsion. Rather like a plasma solar sail. Uses a pair of electromagnet coils around a tube. The large coil is fed a steady DC current to provide a large magnetic field around the craft, and the small coil is fed a radio-frequency AC signal to ionize, heat and accelerate solar plasma around the vehicle to form a plasma current loop. The plasma generates a secondary magnetic field which is many times larger than the coil field, so the plasma bubble is pushed around by a much larger cross section of solar wind without needing a physical solar sail.

Nice! Would adding an electromagnet around the tube near the end of the small tube accelerate the ion stream/air flow even more before it's neutralized by the tube? Also, would having an electromagnet repulse on the emitter side also speed it up?

I have done some tests with a neodymium magnet but I can not see that it affects the ion beam at all but if I get a little more time to experiment then maybe I will do more tests. Thanks for your input, cool idea.

@@rptechlab No problem. S & D innovation's channel looks like it uses that in their ion wind engine VER 2. It looks like the emitter is in a wide coil in order to create a focused magnetic field at the tip of the emitter that should repel charged molecules (if coiled in the right direction) and the collector of the charged particles at the other end has a small electromagnet to attract and accelerate them into the neutralizing collector. It's enough to move the airflow fan they have set up.

I wonder if you could put your whole assembly in another tube that the plasma won’t conduct too seems like it would boost the air flow. I’m no scientist or nothing so I’m prolly wrong. Kinda like an old John Wayne paint gun but not really
