- Pretty self explanatory I think but we're doing exactly what the title says and we''re simply hitting massive flicks as Oni LMAO. I cannot think of anything to add more than that so just enjoy!

And the devs already know about it, it's like a year old or more
its existed ever since oni was released meaning the devs have long known about it. its also not very useful as shown in the video, its quite rare that you can even use a 180 flick and get value out of it. while it most likely wasnt intentional, its an interesting feature that isnt gamebreaking so they dont really have a reason to patch it either.
@@mymop4422they pick and choose when they want to change bugs like this. When Billy was able to flick they patched it quickly but when Blight and Oni have much stronger bugs/techs they let it rock.
It is used quite a lot in comp because the survivors are like the Dwight on disturb, pathing correctly and positioned correctly makes the oni have to 180 a decent amount but I hope they never change this because it is so much fun and makes oni actually scary in power
I hope at some point they make it possible on controller like just unlock the turn rate or something, I like Oni but I don’t want to be gate kept from viability because of my platform
Yea the disparity to console is insane. Not only the 180, but the stupid turn rate restrictions when activating power and downing with the dash as well. He's like a whole tier higher on pc.
Thanks for the vid! Honestly, I think Oni is the most slept-on killer and I'm actually quite glad for it. That being said, I also think that Crutch + Topknot is one of the strongest addon combos you can put on any killer (including Blight). The amount of hits you can get with that combo that shouldn't otherwise be possible is insane.

I think I've definitely seen some onis jump through windows like that, might need a better setup or double speed. Or maybe there's some secret the Oni mains don't tell us lol

This is honestly just the PTB version of Oni. He used to be able to 180 all the time and more.

they increase his turn rate MASSIVLEY whrn you swing, i had a bug once where you swing and flick at the exact moment the power end, no clue how long you have as its only happened once and im p90 on him. but when you do this your sensitivity is turned up a MASSIVE amount for a bit, actually i think i have the clip cause i was recording me scrimming with a team at the time

I love playing only but he’s just so hard to demon dash for me on controller I’m so dog with him and yet I’m fine with every other killer and survivor (ps I am a survivor main and have a total game time of 2.3k hrs)

Tofu do you flick your arm or wrist? I use 3600 dpi and wrist flick, With arm I can drop it down to around 1500 sadly don't have the mouse space for arm play...

As far as I am concerned, OP is something that any player no matter what situation or skill can abuse something to turn the game in their favor like MFT. This is a tech and nothing else, as it is used only in rage mode and only in specific situations, provided you have the skill to actually land the shot.
Remember the time #OHTOFU tried exposing 180 flicks but got outsmarted by 2 Meg's

Bugs?!?! In my Dead by Daylight?!?!
So I tried Oni out on controller the other day and the aim assist would flick me 90 degrees automatically I was doing absolutely nothing to do it he just did it with no prompt while hitting survivors
For the longest time I’ve had this insane oni flick sensitivity and had no idea how anyone controles oni’s club hit. Now I know I coulda been deadly had I bother mastering it 😭
I’m talking about like when he came out
I hope they change this soon. This is really only something that PC players can accomplish, which give them yet another advantage over players on console

IMO the 180 flick isn't the issue with Oni, the problem is that the hit detection makes no sense, you should not get a down on someone who you obviously swing past like you showed happen at the start, at best it should be a single health state for swinging past someone like that. It makes no sense that you can get downed by an Oni whose attack actually landed 90+ degrees away from where you are. Essentially I think that 180 flicks are fine for the game but they need to do something about how hits are calculated with his power to make it actually require you to hit them rather than breathe on them as you turn.
onis ability to surpass the 90 degree flick has nothing to do with dpi, the trick resides on your camera movement.. loking down or up changes the stifness you have when just looking normally, this allows to place your camera in another angles so you can then flick, its the same with blight since they manually nerfed the 180s, now you do it by looking up or down
High dpi definitely helps. I've tried with low dpi and couldn't pull it off. Granted I'm still new to kb&m and flicking with oni in general but high dpi helped me start flicking pretty much straight away

As a console player, i say cheats. Cause even with max sensitivity on game settings, it's not possible.
Gonna jack up my controller sensitivity and see if I can do this on console. Time to throw my games!

I am 99% positive they already know and don't care enough to fix it or it's not high priority compared to pumping out dlc. Imagine if they hired one dev with their millions in profits to fix bugs. They don't really have the excuse of being an indie company anymore. That being said I personally don't care much about this particular bug.
