I think the concept behind it was “it would be neat to show how an inanimate object can go through an adventure to different places just to end up back at the start. Plus the tv can be use to get in the shots of the band performing that all music videos need to have now”. I guess I don’t think it’s that deep.

That the end of the suffering, painfully found in the 10 of swords through the death of a dream, is just a step away... That's a nice touch.

It clearly has a tag for 20$, hes only willing to spend 5$ (You get what you pay for) To me represents the way we date casually knowing full well the "cost" (Point) of a relationship is long term It never works when he wants it to and its always on when he doesn't want it on He tries to get rid of it but it returns and continues doing the opposite of what he wants He tries to destroy it and it returns and continues doing the opposite of what he wants He tries to fix it and fails The only way to make it stop is to record it and store it (Acknowledge & move on) And then smash it asap
