I passed this bottle up at 300 a couple of times and passed up the 135 anniversary bottle at 400 last year. I really wanted to taste them before i bought them. But I probably should have bought both of them. I also passed up the Russel's reserve single rick house camp nelson F at 300 because I wanted to try it first. Finally had a pour of it and it's incredible and now I haven't been able to find one anywhere close to 300. I think these super allocated bottles if you see them for a price you're willing to pay you just need to buy them before you try them. They usually don't disappoint.
$300 is no joke. We were maybe throwing that number around too loosely haha. It’s always different when you’re in the store and faces that decision. Much easier to say during a video shoot after a few drinks! But you have a great point - if something that rare pops up, you almost just have to grab them. They will almost always disappoint due to the price you paid. Agreed! 🥃
I got one of these online. European market gets these online but this years was much harder to find than usual and sold out rapidly. I fortunately knew retailer that had poor SSO where it didn't sell out in 5 minutes
Nice snag! I have this bottle(traded). Maybe I built it up too much but it didn't hit for me. I prefer some good Single Barrel picks to this. Certainly a buy at retail
We have tried a few BTACs at bars and they have all been amazing. It’s always a bit hard to really gather thoughts around bar pours though - always a lot of commotion. We really need to get a bottle and sit down with it.

We have been on quite the lucky streak lately. This was some good juice!
Had both 22 and 23. Very good. But if you want Magic find yourself some bTAC. GTS or WLW are magic in a bottle. Handy is far better than m10 Rye too.
