Man, my local grocery store has had OGD 114 at $19 for the last couple months, and I thought that was a wild price, but some of those mis-priced bottles you guys were talking about were crazy!

So not sure if you happened to look. I do enjoy the Peerless doubled oak. Great video. The Davidson Genesis were the first barrels they played down in 2014. The Five release is an 8 year only 1072 bottles per year. Also, the Rossvillenis owned by MGP, but it’s a KY rye sourced from heaven hill for get a store pick. Cheers!
They are alright. Lots of stores have them. And i mean A LOT. Not bad juice just an average bottle. Never had one that blew my socks off. But ive also never been disappointed. 🤷🏻♂️🥃

Pawleys Island Wine and Spirits near the Publix has a great selection! Owen’s is right next to Litchfield, they have every allocated thing you want… at about 15x MSRP. Blantons was about $230 if I remember correctly. Also check out Bourbon and Burns, great bar with a really good selection. They had EH Taylor Barrel proof in there for about $20 a pour
Ross and Squib is the new name for MGP. Thats where over 200 whiskeys including several of the ones you just touched before the Roseville where all distilled.
I got a bottle of the Corazon Buffalo Trace finished Anejo. Even though it’s not additive free, still great. Check the Tequila sections next time you go hunt, they make both Reposado and Anejo finished in various BT product barrels.
Buzzards Roost Cigar Rye is like smoking a cigar out of a glass. Standard rye notes on the nose and front palate, but the finish is a delicate tobacco coating. Very delicious and unique.
Just a suggestion, but while filming, it would be helpful to allow the price to come into focus especially for the one's that you point out. Baker's 7 are $38 here at select stores and nearly double at others. Strange.
That Wolves is good, different but good. It’s not actually flavored. They distill it from Pale Ale, so the TTB requires they put hop flavored since it wasn’t distilled from a grain mash.
Just buy two and then you have a full bottle of good turkey for $120 😂. On a serious note, Saffell is the better of the two and they are discontinued so don't sleep on them if you want one. Cheers! @@Bourbon_Hunter
The storyteller bookers is good but I wait for all reviews on bookers before I buy a batch. I know you don’t care for Penelope but if you’re gonna get a Penelope go with a barrel pick from a store. It’s worth the money.

Bakers 7 for $35 is absolutely bonkers! They’re always about $70 near me. I agree that it’s a great bottle, but it’s not worth more than $50.

Went to Louisville over Christmas to hit the whiskey row. We did Buzzards Roost, and it was great. I ended up buying the barrel proof rye.
