- This video is dedicated to Cedric Domercq, who on Sept 13, was (close to the edge) of death due to a VERY SEVERE cycling accident where a car hit him at full speed, breaking his body very badly and sending him into a coma. He has woken up, and thanks to the power of God and the prayers of many, he is alive and recovering. (He also happens to be a Barren Cross fan).
As the lyrics go… “Close to the edge, I was running out of time, close to the edge, but now there’s peace of mind…”

I was not aware of this. Good to hear he has recovered. I do remember he did mention his friendship with Mike Lee and that he helped him out in the past. We had contact during our old bootleg taping days. I'm not that active attending concerts the last years but I do have a christian metal radio show for quite some years now. Good performance by BC by the way! BC is one of few white metal bands I still need to see live for the first time. Their lastest album didn't get my full attention in 2013 because many oldschool bands had nice comback albums too, like Sacred Warrior, Bloodgood and Stryper if I remember correctly. All the best to you brother...

Hi Michael, I choose this Video, only to thank you and the other guys for everythink that you ment to me since I was 16 in 1987, when I picked up your (since then my all-time favourite Record Atomic Arena) with my bike from a near country ! Love you since then, I´m a hobby-musician at home, and "Close to the Edge" is one of my favourite songs from the album to play on guitar and drums. I have all your record, even the "Rubber meets the Road"-CD from your old Roady ! I would wish you will record another "Atomic Arena" in this times, I would pre-order it ! Well, As the President of the STRYPER Fan Club, Philadelphia, CHAPTER...as of 2016 I began to live my Transgender life....and I have had NOTHING but hate from so called Christians and I hung myself in 2019, sadly I was found and rescued. IN the mean time, I am so happy of the GREAT albums STRYPER has been putting out, PROVING they are and always have been the best at what they do. I love BC but have had issues with them in the past. I do wish that when Timothy left that they hired JIm who is AMAZING. I am happy to see BC playing together, it is awesome....just hope they matured in the things they said about Stryper that was not needed at the time or ever. I am debating to getting this...the LACK of double bass drum is an important issue..it changes the sound...

Daiyuuuuuummmm!!!! You guys actually sound alright, I bought your "Hotter Than Hell Live" long time ago and I was very disappointed with both the sound and you guys (you sounded awful), but even though Ray Parris still needs more practice I like what I hear now. Been a fan since the late 90's, keep it up guys. And come on you guys haven't brought anything new recently, get together and bring some heavy stuff!!! Anyways, love it. Hey, also, you guys didn't play "Imaginary Music" and "Rock for The King" on this one, shame.....
We must of heard 2 different albums. I currently have the hotter than hell album, and I dig every bit of it, start to finish. The band sounds great and I dig the sound. Ehh.. Could just be we have different tastes. I don't know. But as for this show, I think the reason they didn't play imaginary music, or Rock for the king is because they were playing songs at this concert that they normally don't play. And those 2 songs are popular songs they've played often. That's my guess why they weren't played.

MY Fave 2 BC songs are Deadlock and Clos to the Edge. As MUCH as they sound awesome and they do...I DO NOT HEAR THE DOUBLE BASS DRUM at the end and THAT is a HUGE HUGE disappointment and I may not buy it now because of that, such a shame.

No, it's not meant to sound anything like Jon Anderson or Yes. I just happen to be a Yes fan, and I wrote the song with the title as a little bit of an ode, if you will, to them. What a great progressive rock band they were.
