Barron Cross is a great talent, very underrated in my oppinion, they had alot of cool heavy riffs and chorus's, great live band as well, BC should of been right up their with stryper

Great performance! They should have been bigger. What I’ve seen from the past with great Christian bands. The performers get married and get families. Just my observation. Stryper made it work somehow. I quit because my family came first.
Well well, Barren Cross! My history with BC...I really like them, musically. I appreciate them. However, as the PRESIDENT of the STRYPER Fan Club Philadelphia Chapter, I like BC a lot but I also have TUNZ of issues with them. Wow they sounded a lot like Maiden at times LOL. I love lots of their music, not a fan of their talking garbage about Stryper...and Stryper today are putting out every 2 years MIND BLOWING HEAVY METAL MAGIC.....
WHY???? LOL LOL they save my favorite song (only half od it) for the credits??? DUDE!! Come on...my fave two tunes are DEADLOCK and CLOSER TO THE EDIGE (not on here, not happy bout that LOL) I woud love to see them release this on DVD and add bonus tracks like the complete Deadlock. MIke Lee dalled KIllers another title? Strange.BTW, I love that song but have issues with the lyrics...they ever hear of rape or incest? Anyway, JIm is a GREAT GREAT bass player...I support them but do not talk crap about Stryper a band that has more guts then BC ever had.....just why JUDGE???? Hmm, I could say lots more but I will not.

SO Christian metal here is my list: 1. STRYPER (cannot even be touched), Guardian, Barren Cross, Holy Soldier and Mass. Bloodgood is okay but they are rock more than metal. I am not sure of the band but the HORRIFIC song "Seen and Not Heard" should have been sued major by my ALL TIME fave band KISS (Stryper #2) because it is the most plagiaristic song of all time (listen to Heavens on Fire....it is about SEX..not Heaven literally. Boy people can be really dumb) BTW, I LOVE LOVE WASP....they wrote one album with Christian over tones, they are NOT Christian metal and neither is another band I love Megadeth.

Barren Cross was way underrated. They should have exploded like Stryper. More talented than many mainstream hard rock bands at the time.

They don't sound as Iron Maiden at all. Mike's voice is for sure similar to Bruce Dickinson's. But that's all. Complete different music.
