I feel terrible because I am just now finding out through your comments that the model at the end (Kimberly Rydzewski) ended up taking her own life and was battling depression. Which is why she wanted to quit. I had NO idea and I feel absolutely horrible to even think that she was just acting or a plant for production, when in reality she was struggling with depression and the passing of her mother and boyfriend. I really do apologize and send my condolences to her family.

@A. T. I mean, I getcha, I wear such things for protection, not for fashion, but there are real people out there, who despite COVID need to "look amazing" and present themselves professionally.... like TV reporters, politicians.... of course, it will become part of fashion if you literally spend hours in a mask - people will want to wear matching masks to their clothes.... so let's not hate on people who make fashionable masks when there is demand for such things (yes, again, I getcha, I definitely would not buy a Prada mask or something like that).... but let's imagine a normal scenario of normal people needing to make the best of the messed up situation we are all in.... if I were to get married now (serious concern, I actually pushed my wedding to 2022 hoping that the vaccine would be in by then), considering that in my country, even the married couple has to wear masks, I would be actually looking for a bridal mask to go with my dress on that important day for pictures.... I certainly cannot make that myself, I'd be looking for a store that sells that online (I'd not care for the brand, just that it's from some natural materials and would look bridal). Similar for let's say cartoon masks for kids so they'd wear the things.... Ultimately, if it gets people to wear masks rather than be protesting it, that's what's important, don't you think?

I agree, also quite a bit of the homeless youth are LGBT+ kids whose bigoted parents chucked them out because they couldn't accept them the way they are. Or teen mothers. and the way they dress those girls in 'fake' patched up clothes. Like the one in the black-and-brown dress. She looks more like she's prepping for being Eliza in My Fair Lady...or Lucy from Sweeny Todd.

This is not an accurate representation of what homelessness looks like. People who are homeless look like everybody else, like you and me....

Being homeless doesn't mean you don't have money. I was homeless for a couple years, and I managed to buy some discount clothing and cheap makeup from the dollar store that I kept in my backpacks and purse. I had decent looking things I got from the thrift stores, and though I didn't have much, I was proud of what I did have, and would help out other people by giving them some of my clothes too. Also, when it's cold, we will wear multiple shirts, jackets, coats and pants at the same time. but I understand what you mean. These girls clothes looked more high fashion. It would've turned out better if they bought clothes from cheaper stores. Not all of us had ripped clothes. One of the bigger issues I had with my clothes was getting them washed lol.. it was embarrassing knowing I would have to walk around wearing dirty underwear and clothing sometimes..

You are EXACTLY right. Homelessness & hunger are a HUGE ISSUE in America. The statistics are unreal some million children go without supper every night and its horrifying. We need to truly focus on feeding the children of america when they are starving in our own streets!!
