I'm not crying... you're crying! LOL! Seriously bawling my eyes out with this right now. I haven't seen my family out west in 2.5 years now and I can't go anywhere or expose myself to anyone as I have a severely disabled and medically fragile adult daughter at home who I care for as a solo parent. It's just too risky and my daughter is too medically fragile to be able to fly. Those folks who randomly got stopped were in the right place at the right time for sure! Congratulations to all who got this incredible gift and surprise from West Jet. West Jet, you just simply amaze me every year!
I understand, it's been 4 years for me. Just when I was going to go COVID came, now it's a money problem. I have 4 grandchildren and 2 I have never met!
@Oh No Get Out! Thank you for making me aware of this. They've just gone on the naughty list for life. Any company that promotes segregation in any way... color, race, creed, medical status, whatever, is only promoting hate and intolerance. Automatic boycott for me. Thx again!

There is absolutely no better Christmas commercial than Westjet's Christmas Miracle stories! This year's is one of the best! Warning, you'll want a tissue when you watch this. If I had the reason and opportunity I would fly Westjet just because of these!
Once again Westjet hits it out of the park. Every year I look forward to seeing how they can outdo the previous year's video and they always successfully rise to the challenge. For me at least, it is not possible to watch Westjet's videos without a tear welling up. This is not a public relations initiative that only takes place once a year. Their people truly care and this really stands out when you compare them to the service you get from other airlines. A kind and caring airline, how Canadian 🇨🇦. This is my go-to airline for winter breaks to the islands and on our next trip to Europe I cannot wait to try their Dreamliner to Dublin. Well done Westjet!

I have not seen my children 3 years. The past 2 due to covid. Missed my sons wedding. Thankfully my wife and I are able to leave this monday from where we live (out of country) But gotta say it is not cheap..many many hoops to jump through. Breaks my heart also my wife lost her Mom last March and was not able to go to funeral because of travel restrictions.THis makes my heart happy for this couple ...so thoughtful WestJet..

This has become a yearly tradition for me, to watch @westjet Christmas videos. I'm not crying, you're crying. I really wish I could just take my wife and kids back to nova scotia to visit family, especially with my 1 year old never meeting family

Wow this is beautiful. The amount of times I watched this and cried is crazy! So happy for all of them. My fiancée and I really need something like that too..We’ve been together for 12 years now and got engaged just last year! Due to covid we weren’t able to have our dream destination wedding in Hawaii. He’s a full time nurse and worked during a very scary moment. Our wedding has been postponed and it makes me sad that time is going by without us married. All I have ever wanted is to be married to the man of my dreams. We met when I was 16 and he was 18. Our love nourished and blossomed into a beautiful life. Please west jet if you read this help us out 💛🙏

AweStruck… Awesome.. I have been missing my family. Need to plan a travel to meet them again. This video brought a lot of emotions and deep sense of what we’re missing in Life…. A Family. Every year I look forward to the Westjet Christmas video. I wish I lived in an area where I could use Westjet to support them because I would. Usually I look for the cheapest flights but I would go out of my way for Westjet. As a teacher in the Dominican Republic I use their videos every year in the days leading up to Christmas especially the one that they filmed here. God bless and keep making amazing stories with your content.

you are so right about a mother and daughters bond is so very strong . im missing my daughter this christmas it will be the first one i have ever spent without her . She passed away suddenly last Dec 28th 2020 she was just 35 years old . and i dont even know how its been almost a year already. You see our bond was even deeper than most i guess.... i was her momma and her primary care giver after she was struck by a drunk driver when she was just starting her adult life at age 18. she wasnt expected to make it but i begged god to give her back to me i promised that it didnt matter how injured i would give up my life to care for her and he did but it was so hard for her she was a quadriplegic as a result of the being crushed in her little honda accord by a huge tow truck the drunk was driving when he hit her ...it completely severed her spinal cord she had many health issues over the years but i did everything i could to try to give her some quality of life. I knew ever tiny thing about her physically because i had to in order to know when something was wrong with her .....she was my world and the most beautiful kind loving soul i have ever known and my best friend and as much as my heart aches to be with her i thank god every day for the 17 years he gave me after she was hurt it was such a gift . god bless you for everything you do for people its so important in this sometimes harsh cruel world. Merry Christmas !!

Thank you Westjet for the tears! I'm fortunate to have my children and grandchildren all living close by, however, I understand the longings of those who aren't so fortunate. This video totally warmed my heart and I believe you were actually successful in giving me a gift today as well. You gave me back my Christmas spirit today. Is everyone in the comment section a bot? Seriously, have you tried to work with Westjet recently? You can't reach anyone, refunds take months if they happen, flights change constantly and yet they have time to put out a feel good message? The reality is that couples Cancun vacation would have it's flights changed 50 times before the dates or simply not occur and the clients would have no recourse to fix it.

These always tear me up and come April Fools, they always make me laugh. Is it any wonder I prefer to fly WestJet rather than Air Canada?? One thing ... I was hoping that you would do something for the people of Lytton, BC. They are a few hours up the road from here and their town (yes, the entire town) burnt down this summer due to the wildfires out here. Maybe it's just me because it's so close to home and you already did a Christmas theme about that with Ft MacMurray a few years ago. I am just glad you did what you did for this year as you can't help everyone.

How is it that I can love an airline that I've never had a chance to fly? I was planning on traveling as far north as WestJet flies (Yellowknife, NWT) in June of 2020 to see the long day - but those plans changed with the pandemic. More recently, with vaccinations I was hoping to go to Yellowknife in December for the long night (and hopefully the Northern Lights) but it's not quite time to travel yet. With any luck, I'll be in Yellowknife for Summer Solstice 2022 - flying WestJet, of course!

It certainly pulled at the heart strings....now with Omicron variant and more restrictions and more fear, travel seems so distant again. Another Winter of no travel, not even domestic to Alberta or BC to the remote huts for back country skiing with the Alpine Club of Canada and amazing workouts and inspring motivated people and skilled mountain guides. This is beautiful... but now I'm crying at work!
I was hoping to visit my family in the UK last Christmas, and had even booked extra time off for the week before Christmas. I spent most of the 2020 hoping for the restrictions to be lifted so I could still go but was left disappointed. I was a little sad last Christmas Day knowing that I was meant to be in the UK.
The good news is I've booked time off in August 2022 to go visit them so, as long as new strains of COVID don't cause restrictions again, I should be able to see them next year at least.
