@Maestro Dan how famous something is doesn’t always gauge how well written a and good it is and even though it’s a very great piece I wouldn’t say it’s the best in my opinion
Grandiosa interpretación está sinfonía, es de ensueño, de meditación, de una fantasía qué solamente el que la escucha Puede ampliar su fantasía de ensueño Felicidades
Classical music is not just about the notes; it's about the stories and emotions woven into each piece. The way a simple melody can convey a range of feelings is truly remarkable. It's a form of art that speaks directly to the heart.
Oh the violinist!! 🎉BRAVO! He was heavenly in the Andante. I played it for 13 years and know how difficult that is. Not for a moment was I unsure whether he’d waver. Such vivaciousness and clarity. The oboe was also stunning! The whole orchestra was astonishingly outstanding. BRAVO 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
@@levanmuradashvili2921 Writing a 2+ hour long piece of music that can stand alone on its own merits and that a ballet company can actually dance at a master level takes incredible discipline and knowledge of what is required.
I saw "Swan Lake" many times . Last time at Detroit Opera House . love this ballet . Never get tired listening to Tchaikovsky music . Magnificent performance by violinist Roman Filipov . SPASIBO !!!
Tchaikovsky, Borodin, Moussorgsky, Smetana, Grieg, and the other greats are so good, that when done by a high school orchestra they still grab and move you. When done by a great orchestra, they are sublime.
I used to dance to this music as a child. For me there is nothing more beautiful or more powerful, I cry literally every time I listen to this music. There is no doubt, definitely the greatest music of all time.
Swan lake is my favorite ballet and its suite is perfect! Congrats on the orchestra, mainly the violinist! When he plays Pas de Deus - II. Andante, I could 'see' a ballerina dancing. Wonderful!
I agree wholeheartedly. I loved the violinist too. I played for 13 years as a kid so could feel every note as well. He was so strong! Not for a second did I think he may be off note. Such vivaciousness and clarity. Imagine the lucky dancers ( I was that professionally 😂) who get to do Swan lake with this orchestra! Bravo! 🎉❤
A masterpiece! Thanks to my Late Papa Eligio's legacy of listening, appreciating great classical music todate. Thank you Lord for great musical pieces.
Beautiful. Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer. I'm hearing so many notes and nuances, that I've never heard before! Just can't beat a live performance! Wonderful! 🤗
Tchaikovsky is to ballet what Mozart is to opera and what Beethoven is to sonatas...simply the most astonish music ever written ..symphonies and concertos belong to another galaxy😮
All perfect in this masterpiece , one among several , of Tschaijowsky . But the crowd can't clap every time that has finished one movement , is more begins anew this piece and still I heard applauses. May be people that don't know the classic music.
Outstanding all the way around, but I would have liked the thrilling final scene, reprising the first theme of the ballet, to have been included - to make the biggest hero the composer himself, while still doing great honor to the great soloists.
This rendition of my favourite ballet is absolutely beautiful. I had to stop working eventually, to just sit and listen and absorb the music. Fabulous!

This is one of the first works of classical music I came to love as a small boy. As I got older, I acquired what can only be described as snobbery and a bias against works like this. and Tchaikovsky. However, even though I didn't admit it to myself, I still loved them. Now I have reached a point where I recognize that striking poses and assuming attitudes such as those I took were false and vain. I love them more than ever now. Thank you.
Fine performance! On top of that, compare this generous suite of excerpts from "Swan Lake" at 44. minutes with almost all other "Swan Lake" suites at around 24 minutes. Thanks so much!
For me, ballet music was the first story music. Movie scores are based on ballet music, IMO. Each conveys the story, the characters, the plot, and the action. As a child, when I first heard Tchaikovsky, I felt the story. The beauty, the magic, the passion, and the tragedy. When I discovered the records, I could not get enough of them. They made me aware of music in movies later on. So, I came to love Dmitri Tiomkin and Miklos Rosza. I wish movie composers were treated with the same respect and reverence as the ballet composers.
