Just wanted to say thank you and hope all is well. Appreciate all the hassles you went through to make all these videos happen!!! "Say what i mean and don't give a dam, i do believe and i am who i am" The man himself J. GARCIA
Bruce Hornsby was amazing, his eyes solo is fantastic
I was at this show and so thankful to find this exists!!!
Know I’m late but just found this
I was there……Killer Show! Really enjoyed Bruce sitting in, never forget it; Matched up well
Never forget my mom saying " Your going to see the Grateful Dead on Easter Sunday"?
Bruce years are some of the best. This mix is as good as it gets. Very nice
Thank you doesn't say enough. This was my first show!!! April 1 was my second!
Thank you also forever to Dave Francis for taking me there and showing the way!
Nobel Prize for Voodoonola!! Getting seriously re-educated on the subject of 90's Dead!
Keep 'em comin'!
was at Both Thanks to a friend who had a friend....Love these shows.Probably my Favorite Post Brent shows.I know everyone loves the Eyes from this show,as do I,But to my ears,The Playin in The Band is when they really Start Cookin'.and That Dark Star Tease by Bobby and Bruce...But The Drummers Wanted some.Next Night was Da Shit. Thanks for the Visual Memories....
I was there. Great Show! Bruce Rocks!!!
It was my third show. Went to the two shows in 89. The city banned them in 90.The merchants association here wanted them back. Great food, festive atmoshere, killer music. I was hooked.
Nice to see this. I was there....on my 40th birthday. And the next night too
That Eyes....damn!
Only show I saw on my birthday and the opener was Mississippi. Well, can you believe it?. The opening line ... "On the day when I was born".... Only problem was that Jerry forgot those first few words. Loved it anyway...
I still have the newspaper where the reporter made comment something along the lines, "the crowd was very laid back for the 1st set until the band broke into "Mighty Swell." We were in the Denny's the next morning reading the paper laughing hard with other heads, good times!!!!!! Still getting a kick out of that one to this day. LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!
Two great shows! Love love love the Eyes
An Easter to remember. It was sweaty balls hot in there, even before the sacrament kicked in. I saved grey matter for the following night, when everything was just exactly perfect 3rd row DEAD CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A truly unique one of a kind friend of the devil
Thank you!
that was a great show! thanks
NOOO They never stopped ROCKIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my first dead show. unforgettable.
Thank You vooooooo!!!!!! WB sometime.....it would be nice to hear from ya!!!
Best "Samson" ever!
Two fantastic nights in Greensboro!
Read between the lines in the setlist for "Rebirth or Born Again." The Grateful Dead were a world of metaphors. LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD!!!!!!!!!!
I was there!
Thanks for the electric memriores
Rosebud had that "Talk" with Jerry before the show. You know the one. " Feelin' kinda down today Jerry, I need a loooong walk tonight" " I got you 'ole buddy" 1:09:00 later...and here we go!!
My first show, didn't make it in due to ticketmaster down but hung in the parking lot and heard it all
Ok, I'll take credit for getting Bobby to sing, "ONE FUCK OF A TIME" for this and a few other shows. LLTGD!!!!!!!!!!!!
A little Dark Star quote from Jerry at tail end of Playin’ (1:44:07), a taste of the epic blowout the following night.
I was there, dark Star crashed!!!!! Mikey rizzolo
I was there.
Secondo me la migliore esibizione dei GD
These 2 shows they were really on.. The first night was spectacular and Bruce and Jerry were really accompanying each other well..I like the Grand piano but not so much the Accordion.. This Second set sequence was executed with confidence and The Jam on Playing in the band got my attention after having seen a dozen or versions.like 10/16/89 Albany & Nassau , and Raleigh '90 ...
Drove the fans to Jamestown to catch the train. Slower and no cops. Relix bus and veggie burritos. Lebanese something....ha
Can anyone make out which guitar Jerry's playing?
Rosebud. It has the Roland digital effects module on board as heard on Eyes (flute sound)
I was lucky enough to be at both of these shows. Sorry to those around me who did not like the smell of skunk!! Hahahahahahaha
Nobody complained!!
i was 2 brother got squirt gun puddled heard 1st 4 notes of Darkstar @ end of playin was with a taper in hotel these 2 were like rest of spring 91 FIRE
2:20:50 Bobby calls an audible.
