Cypress Falls | Wimberley, Texas | Cypress Creek

Checking out Cypress Falls in Wimberley. Originally I had wanted to go to a Bonsai Exhibit but it ended up being someone’s house and appointment only so I ended up here to make the drive to Wimberley worthwhile. This is a beautiful swimming area on Cypress Creek. Plenty of free parking, you do have to pay to swim or rent tubes/paddle boards but prices are reasonable. Plenty of people enjoying the pleasant Sunday morning on the water. There’s a few goats roaming on the opposite side of the river. As always the Hill Country is never a disappointment. Short driving section afterwards on River Road along the Blanco River. Hill Country Rivers never disappoint.

Neat place with interesting scenes. The Blanco River in this area is not as clear as other rivers. Still very nice though.
