I was also there early yesterday morning walking to the Blue Hole and in town. Had it mostly to myself at 9 AM but, I could have sold my parking spot by the time I left at noon. The Texas crafts in town are the best in the entire state. Even though my wife passed away recently, I was buying stuff for our new house in New Braunfels that she would have loved.

Wimberley is one of my favorite towns. There's so much to see and do, especially for a town its size. Good job showing all the beautiful sights!

In November last year, my husband and I went on our honeymoon in Wimberly! We loved every day of it and we hope when we have our own little family we will go back and hike, shop, take lovely pictures like we did at the swimming hole for our engagement photos! My husband proposed to me in wimberly as well 😉 ❤

thanks for this video, i was in Texas a couple of years ago, and made my way to Wimberley, found the blue hole park, there was a 2 hour wait to go look at it, so i drove around the down town area, i thought that's all there was, I definitely need to go back and see the rest of it and walk the trails.

There was a little known camp ground we used to go to. It was called Little Arkansas. It was a secret that was down a long dirt road that ran through a ranch. Absolutely beautiful place on the Blanco river. One year it was listed in Texas Highways magazine as one of the 5 best swimming spots in Txeas. After that the crowds started pouring in. It has been closed for a long time and I wonder what ever happened to it.

We just got back from Wimberley today. Love the area and the sights, sounds. Last night (Sun Night) the sky was clear and there were so many stars out. The sunrises and sunsets are always spectacular! We were way up on Mt. Sharp road near Jacobs Well. They have free "guided" tours every Saturday (for those who may be interested). Nice video. Only thing we have not experienced was the Blue Hole. WOuld love to live there, have a piece of land with a view. The place we stayed you could see the Old Bady and the Devils Backbone off in the distance! Everyday we are there, we climb Old Baldy. Bring a camera. Can't wait for our next trip (3-5x a year). We tend to avoid the tourist areas but still nice for a tourist destination. Love the solitude and quiet in the area we stay in. Thanks. Definitely a jewel in Texas. Now subscribed and going to start watching a few more of your videos to get some ideas of where else to venture out to. Texas has it all.

I remember in the late 60"s, early 70's when Wimberly was Wimberly, and not a tourist trap that the immigrants from NY have apparently made it.

If you are there on Dec 31, how do you edit it this quickly from a GoPro and put it up? Did you use your phone? I always find that footage from the GoPro never gets edited bc it's just not as accessible as a phone.
