I love how everytime Drake plays Iron Man, he's holding an iron
It's great.
I almost missed that detail, but yes, it is great :D
you could say his a dude that carries Iron, Man
Clint should've made a giant bow for when he was Goliath. He'd essentially be a walking ballista
like the Giants that were part of the League of Realms
I've thought this so many times over the years.
I got to love Clint's logic of using time travel to avoid getting caught, instead of I dont know... using a different identity then one he was known to use
Comic logic.
Hawkeye works best as resident human and I’m fine with him using things like Pym partials that most humans can use but if he ever get like a “special blood” retcon I’ll be so mad.
I don't know in what story it took place, maybe in the Ultimate Universe, but there was a scene wherein Hawkeye was doing target practice in the middle of a stakeout mission. Confused, Spiderman asked him what the hell he was doing. Hawkeye said something along the lines of this is his 'superpower.' He's the arrow guy, so he has to spend every waking moment honing his skills or else he'll be considered useless by the other heroes. I think it was a neat scene to justify why Hawkeye's in the Avengers.
@@the11thhour44 It wasn’t the Ultimate universe, it’s from Avenging Spider-Man #4.
Hawkeye does end up missing the shot but Peter fixes the arrow to make it look like he landed it anyway before Hawkeye got close. It’s pretty wholesome!
I could of sworn it's been implied he's a mutant
@@realreyhan ahh, thank you so much for the sauce drop!
Upon reading it further, not my favorite rendition of Hawkeye, but the "I can't miss" banter is still a humanizing moment for Clint
@@RealPersonaLVR he was affected by one weapon that was supposed to only hurt mutants but other than that no. Sentinel’s don’t go after him and they go after non mutant mutates like spider man so they’re super sensitive to that sort of thing. Some comics like ultimate Hawkeye imply he’s got special zooming in eyes but they also go back and forth on him being nearsighted or colour blind so probably chalk that up to writer experimentation.
Didn't Clint also ask Kate who gave her permission to go by the name Hawkeye while he was dead and she replied that it was Steve. I vaguely recall that was the moment Clint realized he was on the wrong side.
Yes it was during the first time they met
Ok, hawkeye as goliath may have been a little weird, but he was a big deal at the time, respect roy thomas.
its not only his deal that getting bigger when he becomes Goliath 🤣🤣
Dude deserves way more than 400k subs.
I get most of my info on comics from this one channel, and it's really entertaining at the same time
If you think so, then the best way for me to grow is to tell your friends. :)
@@ComicDrake I don't think many of my friends are interested in comics,
maybe I could change their minds
@@ComicDrake can you do a video about how captain america's shield is connected to Adamantium?
Hey dude, as a Brazilian guy who didn't have enough money to buy comics in Brazil when I was a kid, i love you channel to bring me info y that makes me enjoy marvel movies even more. Thanks for everything
The Hawkeye/Iron Man little sketch was so great! I'd love to see more of those!
Hawkeye cosplays as much as a larper
I know I'm probably overthinking this but it's odd to me that Clint would adopt a new hero identity after breaking his bow as opposed to getting a new bow.
Maybe it was more about "If my bow could broke at anytime on the next missions - I will became useless once again, so I need to find another source of power to fight"
Or just restring his bow.
Comic logic I guess..
Man's barrier against an identity crisis is as fragile as his bow.
>Hawkeye as Goliath
Aside from the Pym trick arrow, now I wanna giant sized Hawkeye show his giant arrows at people in the MCU.
I'm pretty sure his wife already knows about his big arrow.
@@shadowclaw7210 💀💀💀💀💀💀lol
Joke idea: multiversal Hawkeye Avengers team
And each Hawkeye is using identify of different hero.
@@shadowclaw7210 Yes
Hawkeye sure heas been through a lot. I like how the 2012 comics run makes fun of his superhero works outlandish scale but keeps the world really grounded
The golden archer is a reference to the golden archer from Holyoke Comics who I think predates both green arrow and Hawkeye
Drake just holding the entire coffee pot is hilarious
I love how I only noticed it after he mentions his caffine addiction
fascinating stuff about hawkeye I especially like the inside joke with the golden archer
Clint Barton is awesome! 'Nuff said!
Hawkeye: Bow man, sometimes sword man, shield man and giant man.
Never man man though.
When I first met Clint Barton, he was Goliath and Hank Pym was Yellow Jacket.
I love it when Drake cosplays as superheroes and act out scenes.
Nice video, glad to have found your channel. I do believe there a couple of identities omitted though (forgive if I overlooked them) - he briefly posed as Dreadknight when he first went to investigate the Thunderbolts before joining them, and prior to that - and this one is admittedly flimsy - he ran around for a night as Father Time during some celebration for Captain America, coincidentally while Cap was fighting the real FT.
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel
That little dramatized recreation of the conversation between Iron Man and Hawkeye was hilarious.
It seems that Clint Barton and Hank Pym are the heroes with more different identities.
Spider-Man joining the chat with his 5-6 different super hero identities: Who called?
The mug gags always make me chuckle, this one hot particularly hard xD
"I found it on Steve's dead body"
This is comedy gold 😂😂
Lillie: “Haweye have been more hero than I take outfit and powers.”
Good job Drake on cutting down your coffee intake. I do love a good cup of coffee and sometimes a second one later in the day with dessert or something but it's definitely something to enjoy in moderation.
I feel like i should have watched the whole video before this comment 😆 why are you holding an entire carafe of tasty goodness?! 🤣😎😅
Hawkeye is my fav, always has been, always will be 💜
God I love Barney Barton. My man Trickshot took abuse after abuse, abuser after abuser, to finally be a free man on his own terms
Thanks you for your video and channel
I think a vigilante who used disguise them self as villains to kill other villains why also being a more traditional hero in the day would be a bad ass concept
6:58 This is one of the funniest things you’ve ever said on the channel! XD
Hey Drake! Just wanted to say you’ve been looking great recently! Keep up the healthy habits, it’s been paying off!
I wonder if behind the scenes they kept changing hawkeye because they didn’t think people would gravitate to a guy shooting arrows compared to super heroes?
It's more like there weren't many people who cared
Drake! Yanno who's super interesting?
Dreadknight. I stumbled across his bio randomly but he's in so many interesting potentially MCU relevant places! Just a topic idea for the future. And a question for you - do you think Dreadknight could possibly be retconned to be a vampire and appear as a villain in the Blade film as a foil to Black Knight? Love the vids! Thanks for the content
Hey on April 1st you should do a video on the time Spider-Man crossed over with Ren and Stimpy and fought Powdered Toast Man.
Sorry for not watching this when it came out, I hadn’t seen the new Hawkeye stuff and had to catch up
"Check this out, I found it on Steve's dead body" 😂😂😂
I ❤️ this video and channel
Clint should try being the bombastic bagman sometime
406k+subs! Made it! More skits please!
Omg Someone talked about Hawkeye freefall
If another marvel and dc crossover happens, i want things to lead to Clint having to become Batman.
This is a feature? Didn’t know that, love the vids Drake keep em up!!
I know it’s from an alternate universe, but Clint was Venom in Secret Wars Civil War.
That last situation was a Round Robin of Revolving Identities.
I kinda want to watch a video explaining the squadron supreme and their many alternate versions because it's the confusing comicbook weirdness
Yes
I wonder if I could borrow a few superhero identity for myself?
Maybe Spidergwen, Gwenpool, Jennifer or Ms.Marvel.
Drake, will you do a video on Jack of Hearts due to his reappearance in She-Hulk?
Love that the millennium puzzle is in the background now
the coffee pot, a Barton staple
Hey Drake, I dunno if there's enough there to justify a video, but have you ever considered a video on the old Avengers and X-Men arcade games?
Man I was too busy looking at his background
Lol, Hawkeyes body would break being Captain America for a Month
Squirrel Girl video would be great.
Certified Greg moment.
I could go to the Marvel Wiki and pull up Francis Barton (Earth-616) and look at his aliases, but this is more fun.

Can You Talk About Bullseye Being Hawkeye In The ThunderBolts?
Take care drake, have a great weekend.
Can you talk about the x men you've talked surprisingly little about them
The Golden Archer is more likely a Green Arrow pastiche, as the Squadron Supreme is based on the Justice League. Great analysis on the name itself!
Oh, you've got good aim? Here, take this frisbee that works nothing like the thing you're used to aiming.
I guess if being a Marvel scientist lets you do any kind of science, knowing how to use a weapon lets you use any kind of weapon.
It helps that Clint is a master of all types of weapons and only uses a bow because it's his favorite weapon and not because it's the only one he knows how to use.
Hey DRAKE.
this Black History why don't you cover Lothar Prince of the 7 nation.
Who is the first black superhero in all of comics who appeared in Mandrake the Magician comics
I went to an official Marvel exhibit a few weeks ago and it actually confirmed that Nixon was a villain. Not completely canon but it could be considered as such if you want. I don't have photos or proof or anything but I figured I should share.
Baby Drake 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Idk if anyone will have any insight on this but I’m curious, since earth 1610 doesn’t exist anymore, is miles morales still a spider totem?
Iron man looted cap and gave his teamate the shield mythic
Does anyone know why he has a U of L symbol in the background?
"i found it on steves dead body"
Does anyone know the title/issues of the flashback with Clint as a child meeting Swordsman? Or the title/issue of the Clint versus The Hood?
The one with clint and hood is Hawkeye Freefall by Matthew Rosenberg and Otto Schmidt
I was about to say, why is he holding an iron but-

Also Drake: 0:45
Please use timecodes on your videos
Actually not so many identities.. you could have trown in Also dreadknight in the tbolts era..
Drake has huge crush on hawk eye, prove me wrong
👍🏾
spider man manga70s
Ah, Civil War era Iron Man....The most dickish version of Iron Man ever. That's including Superior Iron Man and struggling alcoholic Iron Man
Jesus Marvel lesser know character are definitely Lesser for a reason that junk gets TERRIBLE down in those Marvel D-listers lol 😂
