We live about a 45 minute drive from my wife's family and they have no transport so it precludes their 'dropping by' unannounced.That is not to say they are not welcome, but it does afford us a degree of privacy.

Fun and informative. Good to see Monty doing so much better. I am anxious to see the updates on Jim's house. There are lots of build videos going on in the area but not any remodel videos that I have seen. I love the real estate vids.

I find this really interesting because I'm 64 and single and retired and I don't know but it has me thinking! I will be watching to learn more about how it is there who knows maybe I will sell my house and check it out or rent the house and keep it just in case LOL I would never sell the home unless I knew I liked the place there. I could rent it out!

I have been to the Philippines several times as my best friend lives there, love the culture and the people! Soon I will move there and find me a loving/caring/beautiful woman to share the rest of my life with... Dogs, Chickens, and Cats in the house. No way...Never!!! Choose the area of the Philippines you retire in very carefully gentlemen. I personally would never settle in a place simply because a Filipina is from that particular area. I will be choosing a place, and/or area that best fits my lifestyle...and any woman that is not down with that then it is full on stop. If that means that I don't have a permanent woman, then I am okay with that. Plenty of short-term options.

Nope! It’s not sad. Stop hating! It’s beautiful cause both are getting something out of it. Both are benefiting one way or another. Very happy for these guys. Perfect union! Even if it wasn’t love initially on her part, most from what I see really do fall in love. Especially if he’s a good provider and person. Who in the heck would want to come back to all this ego, materialistic , gun loving , trigger happy mess of a country anyway., once they’ve escaped. And have a beautiful young woman beside them to boot. We all deserve to be happy , especially so in our golden years before we exist the stage. It’s all good and I say more power to em .👍👍😊😊

@@eddieBoxer I'd be more careful these days falling in love with anyone, regardless whether their from SE-Asia or from the west. Everyone these days is out for themselves, I couldn't care how much you think your partner is in love with you.... So what if as a hypothetical he lost some money over a house that he built. It could be far worse in say America where you could loose potentially everything and have to pay legal fee's to fight it. I know what i'd rather loose in these 2 scenarios.
