I remember when the Sherman S was released LK said (paraphrased) "You can increase the top speed with HS mode, but this will put more strain on the batteries and motor, possibly causing more degradation with time."
I made the charge port location somewhat of a non issue on my Patton by putting a 4" long piece of tubing over the charge cord just behind the charge connector to stiffen up the cable. This makes it very easy to insert the cable from in front of the grab handle.
Great review, Ronin! I always appreciate your perspective, and I like knowing I can usually get the Hsiang - Ronin 1-2 punch reviews. Since LK is supposedly putting taller handles on the production version, it seems that the size/weight/range are the only minor downsiders to the Patton. Patton is looking formidable as one of the best all-around wheels ever made!
In the city, A to B is rarely a straight line. I cannot tell from this video how agile the Patton is, and agility is a very important aspect of city riding. Yet, so many EUC reviews I've watched, the rider records himself/herself travelling along a main city street, NEVER taking any turns into side streets. I'd like to see much more cornering.
Hello, nice video. You still have the patton? I need to measure the área for the pads. So i can model them meanwhile i receive. Can you measure the space available for them Please? I mean where the velcro sticks.
Great review! 🙌 I think being able to switch off high speed mode on and off not only is safer for battery health but also for certain types of offroading. If I were to fall and land next to an incredibly torque and power wheel I would hope it be stopping spinning sooner rather than later 😉
Patton is smooth i give it that much But i think the Extreme will be a much better suspension EUC Especially on trails.... Time will tell hey.... Well done.... Thanx 4 sharing
Another Good video review by Ronin. Here’s my weird take on the Patton: what I am excited most about this wheel is that we all should be expecting a new 126v or 134v Sherman S. I think the Patton was made to test market a few ideas or features in this wheel to see how it takes. For example the built in foot pegs. I believe that if the Patton really takes off with riders ONLY needing about 30 mile range, then that would be a clear indicator that it is safe to make the next high voltage Sherman (126 or 134) that will have all of the same conveniences as the Patton, but faster and with a lot more range. Basically, the next Sherman will be the EX30 and Master Pro killer. This is my prediction and I am by passing all other wheels in hopes that I am correct.
And magnesium is better material, since these bumpers gonna protect the wheel in most cases anyway. The aluminium was kind of a deal braker for me on the patton.
Well as the consumer demand more features, the company has to R&D those features, implement and test, that cost gets passed onto the consumer. But yes these are getting expensive, I just bought a Sherman S and I’m waiting for it to arrive. I strongly contemplated just buying a new motorcycle due to the pricing. It’s was a tough choice. Personally I’d rather see them Implement stronger QA/QC protocols with waterproofing, redundancy and hardware. Or put some thought into the design. They are getting better but this is typical of Chinese manufacturing/design, they mass produce and take years to make changes for the better. Look at Begode wheels, parts just continue to fall Off.
But such a small wheel is not stable at high speed, that’s what I hear from reviewers. I ride a v11 (18 inch), and I feel unsafe riding streets with cars. That’s the only reason I think going for the ShermanS. Just more safety.. and range of ofcourse. But safety at speed.
This wheel is meant for surviving drops from high cliffs when jumping around hardcore trails, NOT the city commute as depicted here. Misleading review.
You can do anything you want with a wheel. It would be sad to limit this one to trails only. The Patton fits a wide perimeter of use cases. I gave my opinion on the wheel. Thanks for watching.
Thanks to like and subscribe for more wheels reviews!
The #duf by the Dunkin Donuts truck was hilarious
@@ChrisTorina1glad you noticed it😂

I agree with the manufacturer, keep the High speed mode in the menu and not unlocked out of the box.
Lol its not gonna affect battery health on the sherman s
Nice review. Glad I preordered one of these!

EUC baby gotta love it. Great features on here. Everyone looks comfy on the Patton.✅
Right on
Another Banger video Ronin!!🔥🔥 I could definitely see myself RIIPPIN the streets of NYC on the Patton. Thanks for sharing Brother Peace & Blessings!
Thank you very much. Please do more lives with ustride, I always watch the replays!
@@Ronin_Ryder Ok will do!
Awesome clip! Love your style as always!
Coming from the most stylish rider (you) it means a lot!
@@Ronin_Ryder Thanks man, super nice of you to say! Looking forward to your next vid mon ami!
Thanks!!
Nice Review, loved the music too!
Thanks!
Great vid! Can't wait for my Patton, but who are those two NYC riders at the end? 😝
Hehe, thanks! Teaser of the next video for those who watch till the end.

A lot of incorrect statements in your feedback, but thanks for watching.
Hi, excellent video. What pads are you wearing?
Thanks, Stock pads.
@Ronin_Ryder Sorry my mistake. I meant to ask what shin guards you are wearing?
Cool video bro! I may buy that Patton soon.
Enjoy the wheel!
Great review, Ronin! Very thorough and I agree that this is the best 16” suspension wheel.
Thanks!
Fantastic review Ronin. 👏
Thank you!!
Awesome video bro! But for me, the Sherman S is my choice. I’m waiting for it now, I also watched your video of SS before I ordered 😄👍🏻
Enjoy your wheel!!
I really enjoy the video!!! Good work Ronin thanks for the review ⚡️
Thanks🙏

Hear anything about when EWheels will begin shipping these out?
Best to ask them.

Preciate it as always ronin
Thank you!
The Patton looks promising. Wonder if we'll get a Sherman S Max with the 126v system 😊
Well…😉
good video. very informative and most importantly, to the point! Soon to be #1 EUC youtuber lol
Thank you😂😂

Lets see how it goes!
Thanks man - awesome video! What was you max distance on single charge?
Around 30miles
Lol 30 miles? It’s supposed to go 70…
@@jnelson854 it does at 20-30 mph
Could this be the best wheel of all time?
Ronin for 175lb rider you would still recommend 66lb suspension?
Absolutely
Hi, what is your weight? To understand why you bottom out sometimes
The Frenchman
Ze Frenchman
@@HitlerlandBoi lmao yes
I meant to correct my comment 😛
Fantastic!
Thanks!
Hows the waterproofing
Elle a l'air top !
For riding in nyc do you recommend the knobby or street tire?
Street! But i only tried knobby.
What speed does it beep without high speed mode activated? Can't wait for mine to arrive (66lb)
33-34mph
@@Ronin_Ryder perfect, enough for me
Merci, Mon ami.🥰
What's your predictions for the next leaperkim wheel?
Well…😄
Sherman S MAX 🤣
@Ronin you son of a B you know don’t you, TELL US!!
Hey, what kind of elbow pads are you using? Not in the links
I just added them in the links!
Magnifique Bro 👌
Sick helmet bro 🤙 what is it?
Brand and model please?
I hope you will compare Patton vs Commander mini (when it comes out:D) and give us your opinion
Thanks, need to see how to get one…

It must be annoying having to always go into the settings to put high speed mode. I prefer the look of the Patton over the Sherman S.
Better that way, here's a reason for that, just as you can just access ludicrous mode on the Tesla car out of the gate.
where is telemetry???
Awesome 😎
I like it, but the price.

Looks so wide at the top.
This isn't 16 inches. it's 18
Its 22”

No stability issue when i tried. I mention it in the high speed test. Just need to get used to the wheel.

@@Ronin_Ryder i agree, but its handling when not riding is more important for city. Doesnt stop me from wanting it, however
Hahaha "smaller" 🤣 40kg and $4700+ price tag
4700$? Im not sure this is correct…
