    these "some assembly required" unboxings are rather educational, and more interesting than typical unboxings, thanks for sharing Ronin.

      I’d prefer that all performance wheels come disassembled. QC is insufficient to trust any new EUC.

    After taking apart my commander mini a couple of times to do tire replacements and such its nice too see the additions they made to the build design in comparison to the commander mini of course.

    Even by airshipped wheel standards this is in a lot of pieces because of the way this specific wheel is constructed. Since all of the accessories need to be fastened on both side of the packs they couldn't attach any components prior it makes sense. At best they could have screwed in the little bumpers I guess though.

      @@Ronin_Ryder I am sure it will be nice, loads of people love the V11 and v13 but it seems like a step back but an increase in price over the mini, cutting corners where they can and making larger margins where they can....

    People using a power drill/driver to screw and torque down steel bolts into aluminium never ceases to amuse.
    And wouldn't it be so much easier to run a bead of silicone on the cover instead? 🤔

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  3 месяца назад +3

      there's always the internet expert who knows better and has nothing else to do but share condescending criticism 😅. I edited heavily the video because it would be too boring to show everything, he just used it to speed up then he used screwdrivers to tighten up.

    • @space.youtube
      @space.youtube 3 месяца назад +3

      @@Ronin_RyderClearly you guys are too clever to take advice, or use torque wrenches, or simplify sealant application.
      That's ok, you'll catch on eventually.
      PS It's probably worth doing tyre pressure before suspension. 🤪
      And don't be so thin skinned ffs

    • @ai-rides

      Often times/if not every time the bolt was first inserted by hand and twisted a couple threads in. Then it was tightened down on the lowest setting possible - as Ronin said - to speed things up. We always hand tighten after.
      As for torque specs - good luck on finding torque specs for an Extreme Bull/Begode wheel.
      As for the silicone bead - it sat well where we did it, wasn’t hard at all and putting it on the cover would essentially put it on the inside of the cover and not where you need it to be sealing up - between the tray and the cover.
      If you have helpful - non assuming - advice in the future, please we are always open to feedback.

    • @space.youtube
      @space.youtube 3 месяца назад

      @@ai-rides I don't believe that you (as a rule) use a torque wrench after using the drill/driver. I saw lots of tools on your work bench, but a torque wrench was not one of them. As far as bolt torque settings go, it's not that hard to find an analogous application that can be applied here.
      Also, if you think laying a bead of sealant around wires, suspension end caps, in recesses, nooks and crannies is easier than applying it directly to the unencumbered, easy to access and manipulate flat contact surface of a removed cover, I don't know what to tell you. lol
      "If you have helpful - non assuming - advice in the future, please we are always open to feedback."
      No, you aren't really. 🤣
