Just received my Fiesta Red Noventa Telecaster and immediately bonded with it. Joey I know you said this guitar isn't exactly your thing, but consider going back and listening to just how good you sound on the intro jam. Really nice work.
I did not know about this Fender series. I’m intrigued by those Strats. Changing that pickup with a real P90 and backing down on the tone volume might make this one more versatile. It does soung great though to my ears. Cheers.
thanks Electron :) P90s can be rough on the noise.. theres a few styles out there that are a stacked "P90" so it hum cancels.. but, not quite the same sound/feel tho i think..
Sounds good looks good. But I'm with you, I don't get the appeal of one pickup guitars. I'll admit they look clean, maybe that's part of the appeal, especially for performing. I think I prefer the Gibson bridge P-90 tone, not saying the MP90s don't sound good, just different. I'll take the Tele with the single coil in the bridge plate though. Maybe an MP-90 in the neck would be ok. Is there such a stock model?
True they do look cool Jimmy haha.. And I agree, theres something special about a standard Tele bridge pup setup. That metal plate does something. Paired with a P90 in the neck would be righteous
Thanks Steven! Just a noodle progression I've played with for some years. I think that was a boost pedal into a Tweed Amp simulation (to give it some hair) and plenty of delay haha.
I got mine! Same model. And the Strat too! The Matt satin neck is awesome!
It’s like the custom shop guitar you forgot you wanted!!!

Thanks Alexander! I appreciate the compliments man. That was a fun one to work up for sure
Been on the fence about this guitar so I'm glad on saw your take on it. Thanks for the honesty!
Got one last year, still love it. Did a review and tons of videos with it on my channel
Единственный человек, который правильно показал эту гитару на чистом звуке. Спасибо!
awesome intro jam. wicked.
Thanks dude!
Awesome, love me a tele 😉
As we all should 😎

Thanks J! Yea that strat does look like it'd be a fun ride
…also totally agree on the neck! Probably the best I have in that style
Great looking guitar. Also love your playing! Joey ! How do get rid of the hum (P90's are usually noisy) ?

@@joeytheguitarplayer But your sound on the video is really clean (hum free) - did you use any recoding tricks to avoid or eliminate hum?

@Jimmy James….. Schecter makes a Telecaster clone PT Special…. It has a P90 in the neck position …. They call it a “Diamond V-90”.
@@alexander_winston yes there are some awesome colours for those models too, very tempting.
What's the riff youre playing for Tone 1? Also what amp settings there? Love the sound and have this tele.

Fender calls it a MP 90.
MP90... perhaps stands for "Maybe-P90" haha
Modern Player P-90, maybe.
@@joeytheguitarplayer NOVENTA means 90.
How does this relate to a G&L Asat Special with the jumbo MFD pickups?
It doesn’t relate, it has one pickup.
