As it stands the incompetence of the officials can not be rectified.

I have to fully agree with Laurence on this. It wasn't the VAR fault but the people operating it. The VAR did have a video in slow motion from different angles but they just have to show a still image. THIS IS not what VAR is capable of, it is WHAT THE OPERATORS ARE INCAPABLE OF showing a simple video to the referee.
As for the VAR offside decision, the OPERATORS FAILED TO BRING UP THE LINE even though it was as simple as clicking the button to analyse the picture of contact. And then, a lapse of judgement or "wrong assumption" that was conveniently made, "check complete" under the guise of "possible goal" instead of "offside check", when the screen obviously showing it so wide yet an ACTUAL English person called Darren England can't even read what's displayed on the screen. I can't even believe he has the country name in him when he's so incapable of reading. And they tried to frame it on VAR as much as possible.
I said it again, IT IS NOT THE VAR, it is the incompetent bunch who CAN'T USE VAR.

100% agree, Lawrence explained this well. In todays game, the Ref is presented information and the people who provide it need to show all evidence. They give the ref no choice and yet he gets all the blame/abuse.
Thanks for your comment, I love to hear people's point of view and debating football!

@@EPLHYPE I pity Simon because he was the mascot for the incompetent decision making above. Most people don't know this but the referee is completely INCAPABLE of going against the decisions above. They are powerless but in the event they choose to go against the decision, he has to be responsible for himself. You can't blame Simon for this because there's too much stake and he chose the safer option but sadly, that also doesn't protect himself any better.

Game must be replayed or points givin to Liverpool and at very least jota red recinded also still picture of first red is very close to fans asking questions about why are var now soccer gods ? Liverpool were cheated , is this a matter for court of sport or court of internet in both Liverpool being the innocent party would get justice.

I can assure you that Spurs fans will never dare to accept a rematch despite boasting so much about their team being better. If they feel they are superior, they will gladly welcome a rematch but they know deep down, against a 9 man team at their home ground, this is the best outcome for them so they chose to keep quiet. If they truly love footballs as it is, they would have said something by now. Ange's ball? HA

The two VAR officials were monitoring VAR in a UAE match on Thursday, and apparently were very well paid for it.
The Premier League club owned by UAE lose on Saturday and what happens later in the same day? A club that's expected to be a major challenger for the Premier League title is subjected to 3 very dubious VAR decisions.
    Curtis Jones red card?
Skipp carried out a worse challenge on Luis Diaz last season. It was referred to VAR as a possible red card incident. No red card was given. PGMOL released a statement. They said:- This wasn't a red because when "a player is stepping into a challenge, gets the timing slightly wrong and catches the opponent above the boot, it has been consistent that these are not VAR red cards."
    Luis Diaz goal?
PGMOL couldn't do anything else except hold their hands up to the VAR "error".
    Joe Gomez penalty?
Joe Gomez is brought down in the penalty area which is referred to VAR, who determine it as no foul.
Earlier in the season van Dijk is sent off for the exact same challenge, that was reviewed by VAR and confirmed. It was deemed a foul and as van Dijk was the "last man", he was shown a straight red card. Yet nothing for Joe Gomez?
PGMOL personnel failing to follow their organisations own guidelines. Will they get more work from UAE? I think there's a strong possibility that they will

disgraceful bollocks from the match officials... AGAIN - but i genuinely believe that Jurgen will use this properly, in terms of mentality, and it wouldn't surprise me if we go on to be unbeaten for the rest of the season just so we can all give a big two-fingered 'FUCK OFF' to the pgmol and the fa. i believed we would challenge man shitty all the way to end for this season's title and i haven't chnaged my mind - 42 years of supporting THE best club in the world has thought me to ALWAYS believe 😎🤘
