This looks great!! You're lucky to be a beta tester. Good luck with the continuation of the build. Can you go into more detail about why the 36G tank wouldnt fit?
I was about to buy a xt1 kit and herd they are in the end of design with a Xt2 GM truck variant! Needless to say I’m a GM guy and gonna wait. But I do love the xt1!! Raptor killer all day long. I hope your build goes smoothly and quickly!!
I know!! I didn’t realize you were done! I been watching your videos today! Amazing job. It’s not even my truck and I’m excited. I’m gonna hold out for the Next GM truck they do, but my dad want a XTF, so we been watching yours. So bad ass.
Nice job! Can’t wait to see how this turns out, but I really appreciate all the details you’re showing and doing the cab swap without a lift. The only question I have is: Was the donor truck a clean title truck? I’m just wondering if one could get a salvage titled donor truck to save money, since you don’t need the bed or front fenders.
That is one of the most ingenious and courageous things I have ever seen someone do in the drive way most impressive
Great freaking start!! Can’t wait to see how this turns out!
a couple of 20' steel Ibeams would have made that a fast install. great ingenuity to come up with that install. nice work
Awesome the way you got the cab on the frame!
Sorry thought it was a kit ready for purchase. Im really excited for this build
Should be released next month so you don't need to wait long!
Dam I have a lot to catch up on. I’m glad I found you. 😊
welcome to the Channel

if you look at day 2.5 - the tank sits width wise in the truck now so it is too long unfortunately
@@etreves I got more to catch up on apparently. Thanks for the reply!

Yes it was my daily since last November - clean title with 140k miles
Could you rent a fork lift to lift the body into the chassis? A day rental with a trailer is about $350. Use straps or just slide it onto the chassis?
yes you could absolutely and would be way easier!
The hood looks great.. what motor are you putting in there?
it a JPC sleeved coyote block with TT
This looks exciting. Are you the first to assemble this kit?
Yes - Beta truck #1
The truck version of people that think they're going to turn their sports car into a "race car" by bolting on a bunch of stuff.
That thing will be extra rigid once a proper cage is tied in. Not sure I see the point in this.
The cage is coming..since this is a beta truck a lot of that stuff wasn't ready
I scoured factory 5 website but cant find anything about a xt1.....
Check next month
Are you on the east coast?
Yes.. Huntsville...AL
@@etreves not too many long travel trucks out this way, keep up the good work, what’s your next step for the truck?
@@sethsmith6956 finish the tune and investigate what I think is an IWE rattle, charge AC ... and get it out to SEMA
@etreves Close to me in Atlanta, so I would love to come check it out one day. Great work.
@@scratch9096 just let me know
