I just met him in next to my home playing and singing. He is incredible. It sounds really nice here but if you stand infront of him the sounds IMMEDIATELY snatch you away into another world. I was in a hurry but I was truly spellbound and just stood there listening. Then he talked with me - amazingly friendly man on top of it!!
I'm a musician and I didn't know about the hang. Thank you for posting this. It's sound is much more pleasant and less metallic than the regular steel drum.
Met this fellow in Bern, Switzerland, this past week while randomly walking the city, he was playing this and toning in a small cove and it was absolute magic. Thanks Bruno!
They're a bit expensive though. Search for a Rav Vast Drum. They have high quality sound but construction is different, it's more related to steel tongue drums.
