  • There are so many wonderful things about being a foster parent but, inevitably, there are some really tough parts. Fostering is not an easy vocation, looking after traumatised children can be extremely challenging and resilience is a much value characteristic when we are assessing potential foster carers.
    Helen has been fostering in Gloucestershire with Community Foster Care since 2019. Here she shares what the hardest part of fostering has been for her and her family.
