There's a fine line between how much protective clothing you could wear before it starts interfering with your ability to actually chase and catch a seal! Glad Wally is OK! That was a close one!🦭♻️
When I saw 'a bite' in the title I immediately thought 'I hope Antonie is OK' because it's usually him the seals seem to like to nibble on! Maybe Antonie's luck is changing! Glad Wally is OK.
Watching all these tanglements in one tiny speck of beach on this planet, it’s sickening to know how many animals are in such horrific death traps all around the world. By posting these videos it is making people more aware of this gigantic problem and change many of our ways. It surely has changed mine. I am more aware of what I discard and how it can have a deadly affect on an animal.

Such an intense 11+ minutes and 7 seals for the New Year 2023. Always amazes me how you spot and catch these seals. When that awful hill net was cut you could see that pup’s chest expand…no wonder he was feisty…the pain he must have had. Love the ‘kiss blow’ from Wally, and so sorry about the nip he gave you. A new year, and hopefully less plastic rubbish discarded in our oceans to entrap our marine animals. 🤞🏻 Great teamwork OCN, thank you! 🦭🌊🌍♻️❤️

Ah yes, but the little shorts bring viewers to the channel and then they can watch these longer videos. (And some people prefer the shorts too.) I like both types of videos and most importantly ALL of them generate income for this wonderful group that relies on donations to fund their work.
Oh....OUCH! It's astounding that no matter how deeply they are wounded that you rarely hear them grunt or complain about what you are doing to help rid them of these horrific entanglements. Excellent work guys.
