- I went live on tiktok every night for 7 days to see what would happen. Live streaming on tiktok is something I'm still new to, but I was curious to see what would happen if I consistently live streamed on the platform for 7 consecutive days. Would I gain any new followers? would I earn any money?
You can earn money on tiktok when viewers on your live stream send you gifts. These are little emojis that have a real financial value - each one different. So, depending on your niche, your audience and the gift you get - your earnings can vastly differ from stream to stream.
I only have 5000 followers currently - so this is a good indicator to what you can achieve and what can happen even if you only have a small following.

If people are requesting specific songs for you to play then charge whatever amount you think is fair if that means a certain amount of diamonds or whatever type of tokens that platform uses. It’s still playing live and entertaining viewers online just as you do with your band.
That’s fair, set a price/incentive. I reckon a lot of people do that already! Something to think about
Ty for this video and others. Question- did you play covers ? If so, how did you do so without copyright strikes ?🤔 I’d like to go live but use tracks for cover tunes.
I play covers, just jamming things on the guitar. I think I get around it by having my guitar louder than the music so what people are hearing is mainly me. But also you could use backing tracks from RUclips which are just as good as the originals but less likely to be targeted for copyright 🤟

I mean I see everyone doing it and I always wonder if they get strikes or not. I’m a great singer and I honor the artist, wish it was more accepted. I understand why it suggested but I wish it was.
How much is a diamond?
Not sure where you're getting the 800 followers number to go live, I've only seen it at 1k. At 500 followers, you can join other lives as a guest, but can't run a camera.
Almost certain they changed it. A friend of mine was able to go live as soon as he hit 800 a few months ago
62 quid? Hmmm. Not too bad. But I suppose when you work it out. 10.5 hours a week, it’s about £6 an hour or half the national living wage so you’d be better off getting a part time job ha. But if you’ve got time to spare and you’re a really attractive female, it could be a good living ha. Interesting mate!
