I HAVE MADE AN UPDATED VIDEO WITH AN EASIER/CHEAPER WAY OF SETTING UP YOUR TIKTOK LIVESTREAM AUDIO - CHECK IT OUT HERE: ruclips.net/video/_rtlg1u-qLo/видео.html
scrolled through the comments purposely to see if there would be that ONE person that says "Oh you can do that with this other thing all you gotta do is" blah blah and blah, there was not one commenter so far, this was very well executed.
Best thing I've learnt this year. As a music producer I get every bit of this and more. I can now expand my sounds by adding a mixer on the chain. Thanks
Great video. A few things I do: I play multiple instruments (12 string guitar, Ukulele, Keyboard, Harmonica and vocals. I use a mixer connected to the IRIG stream pro via RCA cable. The Red and white cables connect the mixer (Yamaha FX 10) and the Irig stream pro. Also another point: The Irig stream pro automatically recharges the phone, when you are using a standard purchased charger for the IRIG Stream Pro.
Been looking for this secret, this one really helps, perfectly explained and super straight forward. I have almost the same devices but I didnt knew how to set them up. I'm going to try it with my regular iRig, (v1 I guess) and I feel like it will also do the job. Thanks dude!
nice demonstration, helped alot to understand what it can.. What about the reverb and autotune(and all the other vst's) from your DAW, does it work flawlesly without much delay as it would with only the interface?
Thank you for this tutorial🙏🏻 With this stuff, on Tiktok Live will i also hear, for example, the backing track of a song that I play simultaneously on the computer? Or should i buy sth else for this purpose? I mean i would like to sing and have a music turned on during Live
I’ve been trying to figure this out for months how people are able to do this and I’m so glad I found this video I have everything except that converter I had no clue that was all I needed
Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I've been trying to figure out how I can perform quality healing music outdoors in parks and nature sites and I think this may be the way. Please if you have any suggestions on how I can do that it would be very helpful. Thanks again.
thanks for your awesome channel. I was wondering if I could run left and right 1/4" cables (via rca to 1/4 adapter) from the monitor jacks of my interface (apollo twin) to the rca's of the irig stream pro (if you're familiar w/ the pro, which has stereo capability) or does it have to be the single 1/4" out of the mic jack of the interface? or is there no difference in sound?
Finally found the video I needed to learn how to Live Stream without using OBS! Thanks for doing this. The only question I have is, why are you using a Mono-RCA adapter cable and not a Stereo-RCA adapter cable? The iRig Stream is a Stereo interface isn't it? hmmm Thanks again!
Hey, Rob. This was super helpful, cheers! When it comes to backing tracks, do these have to be loaded into your GarageBand session? Or will the interface and iRig pick up RUclips/Spotify from your computer audio output at the same time as the GarageBand output?
Thank you!! This was great! One question - if I wanted to perform live in front of an audience, but I also want to live stream at the same time… is there a way to connect an amp/speaker/monitor (instead of in ear monitors) to hear myself/perform out loud & for an audience? Thank you so much for your insight!
Great explanation! I wanted to start with only connecting my E-Piano. Do you know how that works uncomplicated? I have a MIDI Cable that actually goes from the Piano directly to my phone.
I have two questions. 1) the irig stream introduces any hiss noise? 2) the effects from the guitar can be reproduced stereo? for example ping pong delays will be sent as a stereo signal or mono?
NIce video @RobGalley. Very informative. I am looking forward to streaming live guitar with good audio quality. I spent months looking for a videos like these that could help. Until I stumble to this video of yours. One question, can I use RCA to stereo instead of the mono that was shown in your video? Your response would greatly be appreciated.
@@ianroimusic6061 yep, I since bought a stereo cable & its better, although check out my latest video for an even easier & better way to do this whole set up 💪
@@charlottehoward1882 thanks! I’d recommend watching my most recent video for an easier & better way of setting up for livestreams- & which would be even better for singing to backing tracks
Awesome video dude got this exact setup with my focusrite pro 40 all thanks to you I'll now be able to stream on tik tok professionally😊 Would the mic still come through if it's plugged in via USB on pro logic yeah?
Im trying to play instrumentals straight into the lives and then use my microphone with the best sound quality as if you was listening on a speaker . Is there any way of achieving this with everything you have mentioned but swapping the irig with a capture card ???
Hey thank you so much for this video exactly what I needed what's that wire that goes into that device to my laptop I have a Samsung what do I need please I need this iv been using my PA for tiktok singing lives I finally found what I need x
Hi, I am a complete beginner when it comes to live streaming. I want to be able to lifestream with my professional original backing tracks. They were done in the studio and I want to sing along with those through a live stream on Lounges TV. I have a UR 44C audio interface, Andy condensing microphone I have a Mac and I have an iPhone 14. Can you please do a video showing how to use full backing tracks and vocals through the iPhone please. I’m really struggling and I have a date set for the 29th of August help🙈
Thanks for this excellent video! Been losing the will trying to figure it out. Just spent 40 quid on the Apple cable that’s recommended in loads of these videos. Now obsolete by the looks of it 🤦🏼♂️
Hey guy, I'm using a Galaxy S20I got that MAONO. Audio mixer and I've got a road NT2 microphone. And I've got a Paul Reese Smith guitar and I'm trying to get a good audio like you had assured me a few pointers. I don't have an iPhone and.
Hey. thanks for the video! very helpful! quick question, can i play instrumentals off youtube (so all audio coming from the laptop will go through the irig?) and then if I add reverb on Logic Pro (just the vocal audio track) you can hear the reverb on the voice in real time>
Great video! Thanks so much. I’m hoping to go live as soon as I have enough followers…800 to go. So you know where to find good karaoke type backing tracks for TikTok?
Hi Rob! Great video my guy! I have a Presonus Studio 2/4 audio interface that I've had for a few years now that I was wanting to use to start making tiktok videos with> Do you by chance think that would be a good audio interface for quality sound?
Hey Rob. Great video - just a quick question - I’ve got a USB Microphone - how would this work with your setup and what would I plug the USB into in the chain you’ve setup? Thanks so much as a bit confused!
Yes Rob i can select my microphone on the settings, and then i hear everything ( spotify / microphone / any computer related output sound ) coming out of the output.@@RobGalley
So this really has to be a mono plug (on the RCA-Y-cable) putting into a stereo headphone jack? I'm just wondering, whether the RCA jacks at the irigs input are also a stereo pair?!
So, u sending a mono-signal instead of a stereo-signal to ur iRig. Accidentally or intentionally? Im asking cause the Jack u put in the M-Audio HP is Mono.

This was super helpful Rob - a simple explanation of a complex task. I imagine I can run the RCAs into the tape input of my Mackie 12.
Finally someone that broke it down correctly. Thank you!
You are a lifesaver!! Ordered my irig stream yesterday!!
Extremely helpful, thank you sir! You're the bomb!
The best video I could ever find. Thank you for your help.

Thank you, I've been using a similar set up with Irig Stream Pro audio interface. Thanks
My man… this was SUPER helpful! Thank you for this 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Question: where were you playing that backup music from? Can you play music from anywhere?

No problem! Also worth checking out the video I tagged at the top of the comments for an easier setup - more sax friendly!
@ no worries I already have the interface, mics, etc. the iRig Stream was the missing ingredient
Thank you!! The only video that has actually made sense !

Your rock for this video! You also rock on the guitar.
I have two questions.
1) the irig stream introduces any hiss noise?
2) the effects from the guitar can be reproduced stereo? for example ping pong delays will be sent as a stereo signal or mono?
great tutorial is this the same for regular recording if you’re a dj?
I have everything and it doesn’t work I’m so confused
Hi.. Thank you for the video.. But i have one question, does quality of the sound is stereo?
Can you create a vocal chain and sing using this setup. Or, will you have too much latency?

Oh, this was right on time 👍🏽💯
Mono. But you could easily make it stereo by using a Tip Ring Sleeve 1/4 inch
Thank you for this video. It really helped me. 🙂🙂🙂
Could you use the irig stream solo also or would that not work?
This is the most helpful video thank you!
@@charlottehoward1882 thanks! I’d recommend watching my most recent video for an easier & better way of setting up for livestreams- & which would be even better for singing to backing tracks
Hi, was very helpful video. Just wanted to ask how can i add slight reverb to my singing audio? Thank you
Awesome video dude got this exact setup with my focusrite pro 40 all thanks to you I'll now be able to stream on tik tok professionally😊 Would the mic still come through if it's plugged in via USB on pro logic yeah?
As long as it’s selected as your mic input on your settings I would have thought so!
Yeah will double check and let you know when it arrives😊 Thanks bud!
Great video! I want to know if I can transfer Garage band audio to a normal laptop (not a MAC)….can I use an audio interface in any way e.g. Focusrite
any advice on getting the output to be stereo instead of hard panned left / right?
Thanks so much for this, very helpful.
I just grabbed the iRig Pro
this was awesome mate cheers
Super helpful! Preciate it brotha!
Great video .. would it work the same with ableton right ? As long as the audio is coming out from de audio interface ?
I would imagine this would work with any Daw as long is it's set to send the audio through your interface and into your phone!
Im trying to play instrumentals straight into the lives and then use my microphone with the best sound quality as if you was listening on a speaker . Is there any way of achieving this with everything you have mentioned but swapping the irig with a capture card ???

The irig stream comes with the cable for Samsung/android 👌
Hi can you just simply record a vocal with this so it can be uploaded to a platform at a later date or is it only for live streaming?
Can i play, music from files on my desktop or should be uploaded to the software??
Have kind of same set up
Anything specific in settings on let’s say TikTok app audio settings
Thanks so much ❤
Great help mate, thankyou ❤
Are you able to hear the other person when your doing battles on tiktok live?
Solid video! What if you wanted to play to a click but you didn’t want that in your stream’s audio?
What is good to use for backing track?
Even if we don’t do live streams, is this the same way should can record TikTok’s on your iPhone while keeping the high quality audio when playing?
This is a well put together video

Thanks bro. You can hear your vocal and all the other sounds in the headphones, correct?
Yea he can
Can you do this with USB Condenser Microphone?
I've got a video coming up about how to do a better version of this whole setup using a USB microphone!
hola la pista de backing track tambien hay que cargarlo al daw? no se puede colocar directamente de youtube?
Appreciate it, thanks for sharing 🙏❤️
Can you do this without the I rig? What does that really do?
Hey!! thanks for the video. I have a question can you get feedback from yourself or someone else when you battle on TikTok?
Thank you for this🙏🏽
Was wondering how TikToKers got some great Audio, and this videos explained everything, thanks bro
Hello, can you spill your gerage band guitar effect? That's cool !

Does this work for windows computer?
Awesome video! Is it possible to get a stereo signal out to tik tok?
Why isn’t the connecting cable between iRig Stream and Audio Interface an RCA to TRS 1/4”??
So, u sending a mono-signal instead of a stereo-signal to ur iRig. Accidentally or intentionally? Im asking cause the Jack u put in the M-Audio HP is Mono.
Looking to get set up for lives. How do you then get the reverb in the microphone for vocals please ?
Do you need an audio interface if you are connecting to an ipad instead of a laptop?
Gold🙌🏽🔥
