"My Happiness" is a pop music standard which was initially made famous in the mid-20th century. An unpublished version of the melody with different lyrics was written by Borney Bergantine in 1933.
The first known recording of this version was in December 1947 by the Marlin Sisters, but the song first became a hit in May 1948 as recorded by Jon and Sondra Steele
The most famous version of the song, with lyrics by Betty Peterson Blasco, was published for the first time in 1948
Connie Francis - whose favorite song at the age of eight had been the Jon and Sondra Steele version of "My Happiness" - remade
the song in a November 6, 1958 The song almost became Francis's first number one hit in the first months of 1959, but was kept at
number two by another remake of a standard: the Platters' version of "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes"

I played my Fender Stratocaster guitar, into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen USB Audio Interface, then into a 'Reaper Mixing Software' programme to record the sound whilst playing to the backing track of :- "My Happiness"
Using Reaper & Guitar Rig, I produced the desired sound required and saved the finished soundtrack to my computer as a MP3 file.
Then I placed the camera footage onto the timeline in CyberLink PowerDirector19, 'BUT' I replaced the camera soundtrack with the 'NEW'
computer mixed soundtrack from Reaper and Guitar Rig, re-edited the footage to produce the finished video of :- "My Happiness"

Pleased to hear that you enjoyed my latest arrangement of ‘My Happiness ‘. My idea for this instrumental was to provide a harmony throughout by playing a different octave throughout. (I think it worked).

Hi Alan, an old Connie Francis song that still has that certain something.
One I remember well from a long while back, as you do also.
I tried to make it a little different by playing a duet on the opposite octave.
I’m pleased with the result and glad you liked it too.

Well you might not believe it Ian ,but I remember this one, because my dad used to play it on the piano accordion, and the harmonica , still have his harmonica , but I cant play it lol.

Hi Geoff, A great song by Connie Francis from 1958, which makes a good instrumental. She had many hits , this being one of them.
I decided to try and do a harmony version by playing along with myself in different octaves, ( it sort of works )

In the sixties was this tune made by Rene & Alligators, just like other bands ( ZZ & The Maskers ) coming from Holland, they went recording in London. That's why they got good quality sound. ruclips.net/video/hCGEmxhSfFc/видео.html
