I forgot how good this movie was holy shit. Was so badass at 5:05 when he starts getting the hang of the suit and the start doing anime fight moves lol. The one thing I wish they had stayed true to from the source material is how, in the manga, the main character writes how many times he has come back on his hand every time he wakes up. It fucked me up in the manga when one panel he has the number "70" or something written on his hand and then later it's in the thousands. Was sad that they didn't include that detail.

Somehow they mastered remaking "D-Day" but against an alien force with futuristic exo-suits and weaponry. Awesome.
I mean, they took it from a manga. And I guess it's easier to copy history rather than make the invasion in Japan, from which those clunky exo suits are made.
love the sound of the machine gun fire it sounds so badass and has a nice punch to it.
ALL MILITARY UNITS, FORM CIVIL WAR LINE !!!! Trucks, LAVs,Tanks, Heicopters, Infantry, Artillery, Special Forces, CAS, you name it, all attack enemy at once and at the same time !!!

I really enjoy this movie when first come out, I don't know why so many people desliked.

I get that this is science fiction, but I would think that a drop from that high, esp with all that gear, would kill you. I doubt these fantastic " exoskeleton suits" or whatever they are called would save you from that high a fall. Otherwise I liked the movie-love the sci fi battles. Also great job putting these scenes together like this-enjoyable to watch. Very much appreciated.
Exoskeleton suit act as reinforced muscles/skeleton for your body. Already today there is exoskeleton suits, with our meager technology, that allows you to wear several times the possible limits of what humans are capable of.
Yes I agree, that it does help people lift heavy objects etc. however I'm not sure it could keep you safe from a fall from that high. You would pick up a lot of speed during the fall, and then the inertia from the sudden stop, so at the least you would probably suffer from rhabdomyolysis ( crushed muscle syndrome) and all the potassium leaking from your muscles would kill your heart.
Moxica Unless you slow down it doesn't matter what you're wearing the kinetic energy is gonna be absorbed by your body.Best case scenario is the legs and/or lower spine breaking.

KrisiimovHD man these creatures kindig to soil in only a few minutes flat can you imagine them being used for peaceful purposes to excavate and start buildings fucking buildings can be put up in one day
....looking at those scenes again i wonder one thing.....how do these aliens manage to kill you? Stab you? From all i saw they just pick and throw you...the only brutal death or more "realistic" death i saw was the first one of the main character.....hmm.....
