- American Idol hopeful David Archuleta sings the National Anthem before the Jazz beat the Lakers in game three in Salt Lake City on the day proclaimed as David Archuleta day. The venue being the Energy Solutions Arena.

i commend him, he's been singing since 7am since he got back from utah, and he can still sing the anthem by the evening. he was scheduled to sing this at 7pm. so he's been screaming and singing all day long. SO IM PROUD, THAT WAS GREAT!! JOB WELL DONE DAVID ARCHULETA!!!!

This is simply..AMAZING! This was performed during his homecoming in Utah during the Top 3 of the AI. He was up at 6am in the morning, did television interview, radio interviews, autograph signing with thousands of fans at the GateWay Mall, perform at his High School- Murray High and still deliver such a fantastic peformance with so much passion...I am sooo.. impressed with him! he is a true inspiration for all and will always support him . Way to go , David !

Awesome performance, simply awesome!!! David is so consistently excellent in every performance! He never ceases to amaze me with every song that he sings. At a time when mediocrity seems to be enough to launch a career in music, it is WONDERFUL to see a vocalist sing with such passion and sincerity.
