When you said getting up early helps us psychologically to think that 'we're ahead of other people', it hit me. I never thought of this from this aspect before. I suffer from depression. I got up early but these years I've fallen into the habit of sleeping in every day. I'll try to keep this new perspective in mind.
I think we always compare ourselves with others, hence the idea of 'getting ahead of others' can be a strong motivator. Hope you can change your habit and become an early riser, if that helps. Even if you don't always make it, don't worry about it. Change takes time. Wish you all the best.

Hello Keith, just want to appreciate you for your great tips. I got overall 8. R8, S8, L8.5 and W6.5. my speed with writing on computer based was slow and it cost me time. I am happy though. By the way, I used the phrase " My family and I are into the habit of taking walks with our dog every Sunday afternoon 🇰🇪😃" I just had to use it.
Thank you very much. Topic of habits I tend to be a kind of early to bed and early to rise. For me, nothing is more important than the health and everything has no value without the health. So I like to do excercise and I jog 5 kms each day out of habit. And I have breakfast before 7am by force of habit. As well having a healthy diet almost become to be in a habit of . In the other hand, I also have several bad habits like: I have a habit of not listening carefullly and usually thinking while someone saying. I'm trying to give up this annoying habit. I think I also need to kick my talkative habit as soon as possible. And I can kick these bad habits by challenging myself that how many minutes could I keep silent and set up my own youtube channel in order to speak anything that I want to say, and by this way, I think I will not annoy anyone.
,It is so easy to get in the bad habit of envying what others have. The grass often seems greener on the other side of the fence. It is vitally important to learn gratitude. Practice thinking about the things you have to be thankful about. I do this with my daughter each evening when I put her to bed. I ask her to recall the good things that happened that day. We then take a few minutes and give thanks for those things. This helps us both to train ourselves to be grateful.
