Hi, Keith..I am your avid follower currently working from Saudi Arabia as staff nurse in MOH but I I am a Filipino citizen. I love watching your vedios, it motivates me about taking an IELTS exam and to go further to my career in Western country as opportunity permits. ELSA is good but when I tried to subscribe...they want to save my atm card number which I declined. At least they gave choices to save or not an atm card number but there was no such choices. Sometimes I cannot make a head or tail of how to deliver my speaking for IELTS but just by watching you explain it in a way that cut above the rest, everything becomes so clear and easy. There is none other than a good teacher so now I don't have to say "I can't get my head around it" anymore. To my way of thinking, practice makes perfect, so I will make some example below although mine is just run-of-the-mild thought. Well, let't talk about my birthday. I am on the fence about whether or not we should have a party on that day. On one hand, I would like to memorise the date of my birth while on the other hand, having a party is not my cup of tea. As for gifts, I don't really mind, I can take it or leave it. When I was young, my parents were my second to none, they gave me toys and dreamed presents, which were my bees knees. Nowadays when I have enough money to pay for whatever I want, I feel it is not a patch on what I have given when I was young. A new cell phone can't hold a candle to a doll.

I have to give a big thanks to none other than my English teacher in my high school in Hungary. She was the hands down the best of the teachers that I experienced in that period. The first lesson - as I remember well - was so confusing. I couldn’t get my head around English language, because I had studied Russian for ages and found it easier. On one hand it was amazing to study a new language , but the on the other hand I didn’t have opportunity to practise it anymore in the school because of the new education law.

However I would lik to share that, I could not remember all the idioms and phrases while spekaing so the way you said it in the video of test day , I went with the flow and I made sure I used " I have been aching for , over the moon ,breath taking , first of all, live through, I believe, I guess , none other than, I think , I would say and some uncommon words ". I am happy that I used them unknowingly. I kept watching just two videos of yours since yesterday till exam time . One is this one and other one is on phrases we must know. You are the bees knees Keith, I totally agree with you on your take about learning idioms, it's better to learn it one step at a time and not all at once. Even though learning English grammar is not my cup of tea, you have made it easier for me to understand. To boil this down, you're the most efficient teacher I've ever come across on RUclips. followed your videos until I was entering the exam hall , even though you said on the test day we should just breathe and relax in one video.
However I would lik to share that, I could not remember all the idioms and phrases while spekaing so the way you said it in the video of test day , I went with the flow and I made sure I used
" I have been aching for , over the moon ,breath taking , first of all, live through, I believe, I guess , none other than, I think , I would say and some uncommon words ". I am happy that I used them unknowingly.
I kept watching just two videos of yours since yesterday till exam time . One is this one and other one is on phrases we must know. I will update when I get my score . I just gave the test 3 hours back .thanks
