I love how they’re doing reveal trailers now. My only hope is that for the next characters that they make, these trailers are the *actual* reveal for them lol. But besides that, this was really cool!

@@maximilianorojas2845 they already revealed Rick would be joining the roster a couple months ago. My hope is that for future reveal trailers they don’t show the character before their trailer comes out so that it’s more surprising.

I agree but as with morty he doesnt really have unique dialogue with characters in the game, they kinda just took voice lines from the show. I'm guessing they'll do the same here, I really want It to not be the case tho.

@@apollyonn2447 they won’t have any character specific lines from Rick or Morty but I’m sure Justin Roiland will be down to get in the booth and record at some point. Fun fact: Reindog is apparently from the universe of NeverEnding Story. Apparently the Nothing is what is bringing all these fighters across MultiVersus together.
It’s hinted at strongly in his player card description on the official website.

I wish we had that little tidbit of the music when he walks in as actual victory themes instead of premade ones by stage.
It's from the cromulons stage and that part plays when someone gets the last point and then the victory theme when you use that stage is the next part that starts at 0:31 but only when it's the theme song version and not when it's playing the get schwifty version. I love the way music transitions in this game.
@@dylanlancaster2157 Yes but I meant I wish we had them locked by character instead of by stage so you can hear character jingles on their win, like how Smash has it.

And besides so far I think they have only shown the characters do things in the trailers that they can actually do in the game.
Maybe slightly exaggerated like when multiple characters were on bugs rocket, but you can have characters ride it.

Ever since Morty had dropped and started playing him I finally got to sit down and watch Rick and Morty. I always wanted to but never brought myself to actually watch the show. Somehow putting Morty in a fg convinced me to do so and its one of greatest animated shows I've seen so far. So seeing Rick here has really got me excited. Can't wait to see some high lvl Rick and Morty players team up.

@@Hunca.Nah it’s reopening. Probs shouldnt tho, player base died off in like a week and they were pedaling a battle pass before the game was even complete. They honestly need to take these ip’s and just start over with a multiverses 2 lol, sounds dumb but the game was not fun competitively at all. Almost every character felt floaty and combos just felt jank as hell most of the time. It was a fun party game for friends for about a week, but then you remember you can just go play the real smash bros

Nobody really talks about him he's underrated for sure but maybe he'll get more once they do something with him like more of a backstory or some buffs
Probably because no one plays these kinds of games for original characters. If you're going to play these games, you're going to go for the characters you know
99% of reindog players end up being my worst team mates ever. Like when I will be mid combo beating up the enemies and he will do that thing where it teleports me back to him -_- and then when I will be falling to my death, he won't do it then he just lets me fall.
