Peter saying, “The news never lies”, was foreshadowing
It works that way as well, but it was clearly intended as a rip on current American news.

After that "No Avengers coming" scene I'm also wondering what the hell was Mysterio gonna do when he eventually teams up with other hero. If he wanted to be the next Iron Man he needed to lead the Avengers into some mission, good luck fooling any of them, like Doctor Strange knows real magic and even Ant-Man could shrink and see that the things are not real
I also agree with the Peter Tingle sin. Maybe in the full on fantasy sequence they should've had Peter actually getting some punches in but end up being overwhelmed and after each succesful punch, have the projection fail and show the real word and that way you could also show a little more how it really was just projections instead of magic.

**laughs in doctor strange**
Srsly I was pissed at that point
Yeah, they talk about it in Dr. Strange and Endgame (a lot there).
Javin Newell the ancient one mentions the multiverse multiple times in doctor strange..
Again everyone missed the point. Spider-man MCU movies didn't explore the real Spiderverse tho, Ancient One introduce us to world of infinite universes (fear, ancestor, dark, magical, quantum realm, ...) which he called the Multiverse and Ant Man and Endgame show to us a Quantum Realm. The point is there is no such a thing of a Spiderverse in MCU yet! And even Feige told us to there exist a multiverse it's the one Ancient One mentions in Dr Strange movie (dar, magical, ...). But Spiderverse is world of infinite parallel universes and in every one exist a only one Spiderman. But when multiverse machine thingy goes on it open a portal to other universes.

After having watched No Way Home, the comment about this being in the same universe as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man was brilliant
Indeed! It is unfortunate that, though not without its flaws, DC outshines Marvel in its handling of the multiverse. Marvel needs to learn from DC.
Uhhh, no. No they don't.
except it doesnt take place in the same universe as the raimi movies thats like the whole point of no way home. Also having the same person play j jonah jameson still makes total sense because different universes can have many similarities
This was explained in Loki; why some people look the same between different universes and some don't, depending on the universe. They''re called "Variants"; there are infinite versions of each person who look exactly the same as their "main" universe version, and also infinite versions who are different. It was how they explained Sylvie being a different version of Loki.
Also, in Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness, we see a few different Strange variants and they all look identical (except for their beard/hairstyles), so my point is that JJJ being JK SImmons in at least two universes isn't that weird.
So I'm surprised they didn't sin the fact that Peter, his best friend, his main bully, his crush, AND his aunt (only guardian) were all blipped. That's like a 3% chance. I mean even though Clint had bad luck with his entire family that's still a 12.5% chance.

Yea know I always thought Peter's acceptance of mysterio was strange but thinking about it. Wasn't part of his acceptance just because Fury was working with him? To this day it piss me off how the glasses didn't show Mysterio true identity. like it did in bus scene when it showed information of people who were in the bus.
But the bus scene is exactly the reason why. Peter didn't turn the glasses on again after the almost-murder he accidently committed with them the first time he turned them on, so he got way more wary of them from that point on. That's why it kinda makes sense that he never looked at Mysterio through the activated glasses.
Or that EDITH didnt already have prior knowledge of who Beck is, and could warn Peter and everyone else; if this super cyber security AI is what it says it is.
@@OlEgSaS32 Do you really think that EDITH doesn't have knowledge of guy who used to work under Tony hands?
I thought they faked the Beck identity well enough to fool super spy Nick Fury so they must have deleted all info about who the man was. His name wasn't Beck so that should have helped and they then used the "another world" story to explain why he could have an exact copy down to the DNA on this Earth.
Also, there was a beard. AI women named EDITH dig beards? I don't know.
I've read a lot of Mysterio comics so these kind of "explanations" come with the character. If you knew how he 100% did it then he wouldn't be the Master of Illusions, he'd be the Master of Exposition.

JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA lol
Looking back on this, this was the first movie to actually talk about and show regular people affected by the blip. As we all know, they went on to do this further in the Wanda-Vision and Hawkeye shows, with a really good scene being in Hawkeye, showing what it was like from Yelena's POV as she disappeared and reappeared and 5 years of time went by. But for her, and everyone else, it was like you just teleported 5 years in to the future.
Marvel did a really good job at showing this to us when, IMO, they didn't have to at all. We didn't NEED any other explanation other than Thanos' gauntlet is the most powerful thing in the known universe and he could do shit like that with just a snap of his fingers. But no, they showed us anyway. So I say bravo. And Far From Home was the first movie to give us a peek at that. In Endgame, we never saw anyone come back. We just knew they were obviously back because they all showed up. And other than the scene with Hawkeye looking at a couple of birds outside of the window at Avengers HQ, there was no indication that anything had happened. No other staff members randomly appeared, no other animals, nothing. And even though Avengers HQ is a top-secret, highly secure facility, so is the Pentagon and over 25k people work there lol. From security staff to receptionists to janitors. But apparently no one is allowed in to Avengers HQ except the Avengers.

I'd take a sin off for the suit making scene. Shows how Peter can adapt and devise gadgets to fight urgent threats, and it's a very believable, non contrived way for him to get a suit. Happy wouldn't waste time looking for the suit Peter packed, and not only would he have to stop what he's doing and go to Peter's place to grab the Iron Spider (his only other suit), he likely wouldn't have time to figure out how to transport it. Peter's call was urgent, so it makes sense that he'd drop what he was doing and grab Peter on a high tech plane. If he needed a suit, he could just make one after he was safe.

You forgot "Tony had a weaponized satellite and didn't use it against Thanos"
Tony might not have been able to use anything connected to E.D.I.T.H. in the Infinity War because he'd lost access to it...
Peter got the glasses from Nick Fury, both of whom had been snapped, and Tony died at the end of the battle immediately following the blip, so the only time he and Fury could have set that up was before Tony left for Titan. That's why he was so mad at Peter for staying on board. He was expecting to die and counting on Peter to be on Earth with E.D.I.T.H. to protect it.
@Hiccup Hufflepuff When Tony went outside to investigate the screams with Banner and strange he was wearing the Glasses
Sure because the guy who controls the infinity stones is going to lose to a satellite. Plus the satellite probably couldn’t reach Titan

NO ONE in SHIELD did any background on Quentin before essentially making him a new Avenger? I call BS
Jared Griffin Exactly! There were multiple obvious ways to make more than a few high schoolers and a glorified security guard aware of Beck’s scheme, despite its remarkable intricacy and ingenious. MJ could’ve taken that stray projector to the authorities. EDITH could’ve scanned Beck and identified him at the bar. Maybe every civilian in the movie doesn’t have to be so goddamned stupid! Like, during Flash’s stream in London when the “Fusion Elemental” (aka more obvious bullshit, because Beck had previously said that there were only four) attacked, when the illusion turned off, Flash just went all crazy. He was like, “the monster was full of drones, it’s crazy!” There was clearly never a monster, you moron! And before I get to the final and most obvious, HOW DID NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN ALL OF LONDON NOT SEE THAT IT WAS CLEARLY AN ILLUSION?! It turned off, a bunch of drones appear, and NO ONE’S gonna question that shit?
Possibly the most obvious way Beck could’ve been outed sooner is with two flaws in his narrative. First, he said that battalions of people just like him tried and failed to even stop one of those things, but when he first met Spidey, he had supposedly killed three by himself and with little to no difficulty. Second, the Elementals were supposed to have come through a dimensional rift caused by the Snap SIX YEARS AGO. That is just bull. Even if it was supposedly created by Hulk’s Blip eight months earlier, you’d think that beings of their power would be able to cross a tear in the multiverse pretty immediately, because the first one showed up EIGHT F*CKING MONTHS after the Blip. Since there was no rift to begin with, and that it’s been shown that the Masters of the Mystic Arts at least have Internet, just imagine how short this movie would’ve been if Doctor Strange had cared to look into why five cities were being destroyed by supposedly-mystical creatures, but he couldn’t sense them anywhere in the mystical world.
If I was a character in the MCU at this time, this whole story would’ve reeked of total bullshit and looked like a pathetic attempt to replace Iron Man to me. Even IRL before this movie came out, I was sure Beck was gonna turn evil somehow.
Thought your pfp was water on my phone, and I had a heart attack
@@thefilmwatcher1302 So true I am seen the movie right now and the writting is bad when it comes to the plot and yeah Mysterio kill 3 but a whole army of them could not i was like bullshit, they just wanted to make the plot center around another villain-conflict indirectly created by Tony Stark a plot of putting Peter in the position as the next Tony Stark-Iron Man it was a good concept but for my taste poorly cliche executed seriously this plots of a secret agenda where the villain plans everything in secret tends to fail and create plot holes if not executed right one movie that did this was B Vs S and i could not get into it.
What? That would be like doing a background check on Thor. If you are convinced he came from a different fucking world, what sort of background do you check for?
How could you get backround on Quentin? Tony's dead so he coudn't tell that he worked with him and how can you jump in a diffrent reality and be like: ''hey guys, from a diffrent universe, is Quentin a good guy? Is he even here?''
oh wait, all of people would be already dead in that universe and pretty sure Shield would not have machines to jump in diffrent realities, if it even existed. That would be some SCI-FI bullshit that i think even Marvel wouldn't touch. I call this comment, wrong.

Newtons 1st law of motion: an object in motion will remain in motion unless a force is acts on it, since peter and the bus have the equal relative velocity (travelling at the same speed ) and no force that affects peter's velocity relative to the bus is applied then he would back in the bus, not go onto the roof of the bus.
This is shown well in the 1st episode of young Sheldon here.

That would be true in a vacuum, but not in air

Sins "fury" For making poor decisions. Doesn't remove those sins when he finds out "fury" Isn't fury
Well fury and the chic being skrulls and setting up the possibility of anyone being a skrull deserves a double sin I guess 😂

That's not a river. Venice is built on a lagoon, and those are sea-water canals.

Easy, Fury told him.
Why did Fury trust him with the info? Easy, he’s not Fury, he’s a skrull.
You could also see some of mysterios crew in the background
And that's also why he said "don't invoque her" when Peter mentioned Captain Marvel

The whole point of Peter's struggle with the "Peter Tingle" was meant to show his insecurity and self-doubt. He lost Tony - essentially his third father-figure, after his real dad and Ben - and was being expected to at least somewhat fill his shoes at 16 years old, with little experience and during his grieving period. His confidence was shot, he didn't think he could live up to everyone's expectations - which he told Happy on the jet - and that's why it was messing up and why he was so eager to trust Beck and give over the responsibility of E.D.I.T.H. (another insecurity heightened by the mishap on the bus) and the role of the "Next Iron Man" to him. Yeah, he was naive to trust him, but he's a teenager, grieving, and insecure about his abilities and role within the Avengers. Happy's pep talk in the plane helped him realise it was okay if he didn't quite live up to Tony, gave him the confidence he needed and helped him see that no matter how insecure he felt, Tony always believed in him and trusted his abilities and judgement enough to hand down something as powerful and important as E.D.I.T.H to him and that he should believe in himself as well. Once his confidence returned, he was able to focus on using the Peter Tingle effectively instead of worrying he would mess up, thus breaking his focus.
Everyone knows that people will never buy a story arc where Spider Man's doubts and uncertainties cause him to fumble using his powers... Wait. Where the hell did Toby go?
I'm wondering if people just forgot what it's like to be an awkward, indecisive, and overwhelmed teenager who just wants to have less responsibility in his life? This was a pretty lame video that willfully chose to ignore plotpoints or character motivations.
Even a little thing like Fake Nick Fury saying "Don't invoke her name" about Captain Marvel. The whole point there is that Fake Nick Fury doesn't have the same resources, pull, and smarts of real Nick Fury, not to mention Captain Marvel is probably involved in some crazy top secret space shit with Nick Fury. Of course he's going to deflect Peter from trying to rope her in.
If his spider sense is affected by his emotions or mental state then that severely weakens him and will create many moments in the future where he is vulnerable. It won't work while he is asleep, distracted or sick. This is not the Spider-man meant to go on to become the greatest hero in history.
@@TheOneAndOnlyNAB Plus, Captain Marvel saved the skrulls' entire civilization, so it actually makes sense for them to be reverential.

His aunt mentions he’s been struggling with the spider sense since he was snapped back... if you remember from infinity war, just after the snap, everyone else figured out they were fading at the moment they started to fade... but because of peter’s spider sense he could feel his death coming much sooner... which is why he fell into Tony’s arms and said he didn’t feel so good. Isn’t that hard to figure out that having such a strong detector of his own death was probably pretty terrible... especially since he couldn’t stop it... post traumatic stress can lead to issues with many parts of our lives... impotence being the parallel here. He works through and over comes that fear and trauma later in the movie,.. which is why his spider sense starts alerting him
That’s also the reason why Peter lost his powers in Spider-Man 2.
you're right, but the issue is that the movie doesn't dedicate more time to actually set this plot point up properly, and instead the viewers had to make sense of it after the movie was already over

I'm down voting this video for the sole reason that he missed out the movies biggest sin.
If Mysterio only got access to the drones from Peter after he used the illusions of the first 4 elementals, then at best all he was using was camera projectors to make everything look real, and all the damage was actually fake, since all damage after that was performed by the drones which he had no access to at the time.
So how did Fury and Peter not catch on to this guy much earlier when they notice that following each elementals rampage all the damage just disappears as if nothing happened?
