Great vid bro, some of the ones I follow were staying at the bowling club and seen a couple of their vids but good to get other videos from this great weekend so thanks for showing. mmmmmmmmmmm Merlin's.
Great video, love the idea of these weekends, hoping to attend next year. One question I do have is how many of them "paras" have earned the right to wear the beret? Most of us don't take to kindly to walts
Hi Pte J Burdett thanks for watching and your comments. These are re-enactors off the 1940s I don't think they are trying to pass themselves of as real paras unless they are ex paras??. They are good weekends, we started going last year. regards Nev
As an former Guardsman , I get what you're saying , and if they were wearing current uniforms/medal ribbons etc , BUT they wear WWII uniform , 37 pattern belt / webbing etc ... I portray a Guards Company Sergeant Major , and do wear WWI ribbons, pre WWII ribbons too (having joined the regiment in 1916..lol), but certainly not a Walt ..., otherwise I'd be 116 years old .
Thank you Neville another great video and nice to see you caught the Merlins and Leader after her restoration...
Thanks Peter . Nev
