Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Chris last month. The ingenuity and resourcefulness of these folks in recreating the airframe components is astonishing. My tour around the hangar convinced me to return next year for a VIP taxi trip in 'Jane'. Tickets booked... can't wait !!
We can’t thank you enough Neville for those 400 videos; but Thank YOU anyway!!!
You ask some excellent Qs of the craftsmen tradesmen and are an integral part of the restoration team, giving the outside world incredible access to the finer points of the whole process. Making each of your videos priceless.
Stay well mate!
Cheers Nev
Thanks for a great video Nev. Love the banter with the Structures Bay team 😆
Thanks Neville. For these videos showing the dedication of these craftsman and for showing that your own reactions are like grease lightening. Brilliant.
Neville, ti'n seren (Welsh)/ your'e a star. Diolch o'r galon - heartfelt thanks
Well done Nev on the 400th. I love the last bit. Makes it all more real.
Congrats on 400 NW!! What a way to showcase the immense skill and talent of true British craftmanship before the donkey politicians allow it all to die. These men have more talent in their fingernails than most politicians will have in their whole life. Its so sad to see the decline happen before our eyes! When I was serving my apprenticeship in the late 70s there was good engineering workshops all over Manchester. They were full of clever men doing difficult things using their hands machine tools and brains, most have now closed forever. Its good to see some of that skill survive.
Neville you are an inspiration to all of us. Keep up the good work. PETER LINDOP. 😊
Well done Neville keep them coming, great content.

Thank you so much xx
I think we're all a bit one-sided Nev 😊
Congrats on the 400th video and thank you so much for doing these updates.
Thank for the latest video Neville, congratulations on your 400th video
Thanks, Nev.
great to see Chris having a go at frame/former making, with great success i'd say, should now take a little pressure off Dave who has done a sterling job on everything so far, hand making all the frames, trouble now is you know your making a bit of a rod for your back, now you have proven you can do it, you'll be doing more and not aloud home until you have done the lot
to think these things were stamped out in their hundreds, and none of that manufacturing technology remains is very sad, but like so many things, i remember very well after the Harrier being scrapped, very little remains, but some of the documentation has been filed away, i knew a chap who worked on assembly and has had to replace some parts on museum pieces, hand making every part - but as i always say, everything is made to begin with, everything can be remade again, its a matter of how and how much, things can be reengineered
ps love the last bit, nearly another out take
Neville. It was good to meet you at the museum the other week. Congratulations on your 400th "h"upload. I'm really looking forward to watching the next 400! 😊

Congrats on your 400th upload. Cheers Neville. :-)
Nevile
I liked the quick flash of your cuff.
Libery print from the 70's and the back of your wardrobe perhaps?
Very well done on achieving your four hundredth video Neville! Fascinating stuff as usual, and it’s great to see the rapport you now have with the team at EK. Congratulations!
This is probably one of the most captivating things on UTube for men of a certain age.
Nev congratulations on your 400 th Video and thank you for bringing these updates to all of us aviation followers, long may your Just Jane updates continue, thanks....👌
Congratulations Neville, I don’t think there has ever been a more comprehensive study of any vehicle, let alone an aircraft restoration. You have done an incredible job and I wonder what state the Lancaster reconstruction will be by the end of the next 400 videos … hopefully flying?
Hi Neville thankyou for another great video hope you are well
WOW! 400 - Congratulations
Nev you are a superstar, 400 videos what reference material for future historical use.. well done indeed 🙂
Excellent video as always Neville!
That was a great video, Nev. Where's Jacob and Keith? 400 videos what a milestone. Well done Nev, here's to the next 400.
Great video as usual Neville. Bit of an update from my social media feeds, the BBMF has painted one Spitfire commemorating Sqd Leader Mark Long, painting L🧿NG on one side. I`m guessing it`s for the 2024 display season.
Oh that’s a lovely tribute to him. RIP Squadron Leader Mark Long Per Ardua Ad Astra
Thanks Nev. You will know about Lancs than Roy Chadwick soon!
Keep the good work up ....🥂
amazing
Will they be reinstating the original nose back on lanc just jane
Interesting looking back at your three earlier videos of the two Lancs and then your opening shots here.. PA474 appears to have a red Navigation light mid bomb bay… will NX611 need to have any modern mods such as this as I note Vera didn’t have such on landing? Andy
Th-h-ank y-h-ou f-h-or 4-h-00 huploads Neville. Here's to the next f-h-our hu-h-undred!
HaHa Chief Tech Bender lol…
