@@nelsonvanvickle8862 well I meant high hp gasoline cars, and trust me when you get one you’ll prefer a gasoline powered vehicle too, the ones regular people can afford are extremely inefficient, 150-200 miles on a full charge is the norm. My r/t gets nearly 400 on a full tank. Not to mention it comes out of your light bill, the installation of a power outlet in your house isn’t cheap, plus it raises your light bill about $100 or more depending on how much you drive it. I had one and I immediately traded it in.

Love to have one. Wish it had the 6.2 but 707hp is 707hp. And I personally like the new Phoenix with Bert's initials and the tribute to his alma mater. Keep in mind, it's not a Trans Am, it's a truck styled as a tribute vehicle. Only other thing I would have liked is the two tone leather in the first truck, I didn't care for the Pontiac badging but I thought the two toned leather was reminiscent of a Maclaren or Bugatti.
Different eternal parts (and supercharger) to make that 5.3 handle that output makes the HEMI 6.2 supercharged mill looks so silly😂 (I'm not knocking RAM both RAM and GM are my preferred trucks)
There's talk of them brining the K5 Blazer back for that showdown. I wouldn't hold my breath on it though. GM has a tendency to drag their feet for a good while before doing anything about their competition.

I don't like how the front bumper ground effect sticks out past the front of the grill. Other then that I'd still sell my 2021 RST with the 6.2 for that truck.

I was born in 84 but I watched BR smoky in the bandit and dukes of Hazzard. I think with the rims atleast to the same color as original and make the bird decal more like the original cause it looks real knock off tacky but I like where there going with the idea of being a new truck with modern horse power.
This is what Pisses me off about GM. They have so many opportunities to Build some really nice Factory Vehicles. Bandits, Chevelle SS, Raptor competitor, etc. But no Ford is Building Raptors, GT500s, Dodge is Hellcating everything. Come on GM !!!

Looks pretty sweet but the whole Pontiac Silverado thing kinda puts me on the fence however if gonna do it , yes do it right and maybe with higher option trim model truck with better options , possibly make it a true T-Top and actual honeycomb grill , js but looks sweet , I miss the good GM
Biggest concern: needs to be the Crew cab and it should have been a GMC Sierra Crew cab since it was a part of Pontiac. Plus Trans Am World wide in Florida has the rights to the Trans Am name and logo from GM.
Love the concept. No interest at all in large touch screen tech. Had a 77 bandit. Zero tech but fell in love with the bezeled cluster and the original hood decal. Swapped out the entire drive train and used built 455 Buick motor, trans, etc. I would have interest in something like this is it had a stick shift or shifter off the column. Truck looks great except the hood decal. Price range. Well as it stands. My limit would be in the ballpark of 110k. Otherwise, I think I would go Ram TRX or even a Hellcat.
Their is three things that I wish they would have included in this limited products truck that would of made it stand out even more from the crop would be: #1. If the wheels where gold or more gold in the wheels accented in black...#2 more gold accented in the front grill(like the back) like the top side of the splitter gold and the top side of the bumper gold (maybe) and #3 optional but for the WOW factor- the first ever built trucks with a T-Top designed sun roof would of took over-the-top like the motor!!! optional if they could be removed or not but definitely see thru??? Also optional tan or peanut butter interior.... but the truck is awesome...last but not least- I think this beast should be offer in a short wide and or step side version and sales would be off the charts... almost forgot NEED those raised white letter tires too!!!

If you don't love Smokey and the Bandit, you're not a real car guy! The gratuitous burnout at the beginning of the movie is forever etched into my mind! I had a red Trans Am bedspread when I was a kid and I would sit on my bed and pretend I was Burt Reynolds. It's a cool truck, but I'm sure it will be stupidly overpriced.

I was a lucky 12 year old when the movie was filmed in & around my hometown area the summer of '76! We were living in Conyers Georgia {where Snowman had to pick up a load of manure} at that time but moved 10 miles over to Covington in 1977 which is the home of the Dukes of Hazzard & I was also lucky enough to be in front of the red store as the General slides onto the square getting chased by Roscoe {RUclips video Dukes Of Hazzard : Chase From 1st Episode} which happen to be the same square where I was when Burt landed his plane to get beer in Cannonball Run 1981, I was with the folks on the corner as the plane turned around {RUclips video Cannonball Plane}! Heat of the Night was also filmed there & in 1992 I had a Ttop Z28 & was watching them film in front of the "police station" & was asked to use my car but I have never seen it in any episode so I assume it was cut out but I was paid for it so all good!
