4:00 Hearing him say out loud "The favourite thing I sell would have to be Kickain" and seeing that mirrored faceplate = it finally dawned on me what the pun is there! Facepalm. Ah, the (dis)advantages of _NOT_ being a native English speaker.
I love Julia Bondar. Her music feels so stripped back and simple but just hits straight to my musical pleasure sensors. She makes me wonder why I can’t do it. It seems so easy until you try.
Captures the spirit of the day in a generous and positive manner. As always, I saw little gearing detail, but had some wonderful conversations with fine folks, and most importantly returned home with a pocket full of stickers. Isn't that the real reason we all attend such events? 😀

Genius idea - really - but is it repeatable? I think you may be onto a goldmine here … either a constant show meme, or something you bring out every so often when things have shifted a little. Either way a moment of genious which I’ve never seen before. Patent it now! Loved it and thank you so much 🙏🏻
9:11 So interesting. I had a CS15 for decades and while it’s a great synth, it never grabbed my spirit really. It was amazing for sub bass, dubby stuff… but that’s all i ended up using it for. Leads and things never grabbed me. Just goes to show, personal taste is personal.
While it hasn't quelled my GAS completely, my Hydrasynth has caused me to give a second-think as to whether or not I actually need a particular new synth discovery or not. Most of the time I realize that it has me covered, now my short list is more selective and focused on instruments that do the things it can't (which is very little).
Great focussed idea with a really interesting series of short interviews. But my favorite parts were the air conditioner, pizza, beer, outside shots and especially the ending :D
We used to joke on acid that Eliane Radigue sounds like the quiet inside of a refrigerator, and despite that the equipment used had been the size of refrigerator, at considerable cost, for all that it, it lacked food chilling capabilities.
Looks like a fab day out, thanks for sharing 👍 Regarding the Doepfer Wasp... Had mine since 2016 and it hasn't blown its chip yet What am I doing wrong?
Great video! When I first went to the Sonicstate studio, THE ONLY piece of gear I asked to have, straight off the batt (no pun intended) was the CS-15. Now I know why my offer was declined.
This was effing brilliant, even though nobody actually said "filtersweep", which the title did imply.

okay wow, no, i’m a native english speaker and i didn’t get it until i heard him say it out loud either 😅
Brilliant in concept and execution.
Was only worried for a second
Thought he was kidding, and i laughed out loud.
HIYA! Buy a demo video and a BiG SiX! :D

That’s the thing about genius

Thanks for your time and YES - for me the point of such events is the conversations/connections they foster.
The F word is FART. Comes from GAS.
Finally Acknowledging they're Really just Toys? 😀

That was a treat. There’s a unique thrill of a big room with loads of amazing gear and like-minded people sharing ideas over a couple of days. Cheers.
Brilliant Alex, as to be one of my all time favourite episodes. Cheers to the guys too!
WHY IS NO ONE SAYING FUCK
Watch to the very end. (sorry)

Liking Divkid quoting Rob Hordijk; "Modular synthesizers are not about modules, but about modulation".
Such a fun video ,love this thanks.

I love how misleading the title is and also what a great question to ask manufacturers!
