When the guy in the red shirt came by with a synth around his neck while you were eating reminded me of being on a beach in a foreign country and those peddlers come by trying to sell you stuff. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were peddlers with like a big cart of eurorack synths on the beach when you travel? 😂
I enjoy your synthesizer videos because they capture the vibe of making electronic music perfectly, and you’ve done it again here; in capturing what the Superbooth experience vibe was like! Really fun to watch - not just a talented musician but also an excellent film maker, well done!
In (distant) reference to 7:32, I think I might buy Behringer's Monotribe clone/sequel (Hirotribe) when/if that comes out, since they got the original designer to make it for them. Seems a shame that Korg isn't producing it though.
Oh! So many cool people, so many cool toys. (I haven't been to any kind of convention in far too long, maybe eight years?) Even the devices I have absolutely no use for I want now.
Thanks for sharing this, really captured the hectic fun of a good conference, and this looks like an excellent one! Tempting me to head there next time.
Hahaha, if I would have known this ends up on the tube i wouldn’t have stuffed my mouth like this. Love this coverage, it really does the show justice. Thanks for including my stuff.
Really like the energy and rhythm of the editing here. Ace.
Thank you!! Do enjoy the edit
That struck me too, really puts across the excitement of the event.
Awesome meeting you! Hope to catch up at Superbooth 2024!
Same, and definitely!! 🙌
14:31 “Lame organ. Probably worthless” 😂😂😂
Red Means Record claims it's a fever dream. So what is it, eh? MAKE UP YOUR MINDS! 😀
It is naturally both
Hang style ftw. Nice work man!

Lame Organ is my nickname for my... well... oh my...

You really captured the bonkers nature of Superbooth perfectly!
Merci beaucoup pour votre assistance!!
@@mylarmelodies De rien, monsieur!
It's like a nerdy festival with fewer drugs.
Synths for days and vegan gyros! Heaven on earth. And wow that Nina and re-101. Awesome video man.
Best video I've seen of the event. Nice one. 👍
I've lived in Melbourne my whole life. I am amazed at what that Melbourne synth crew came out with, not only automated knobs but it sounds beautiful
Perfect pacing. This is my favorite edit of the show and the surrounding experience. Nice one.
🙌
Thanks for including synthesizer Studio Berlin in your video. If you ever want to come by for a studio tour we‘re up for it. ❤

"I'll have a cold beer, an ice cream and a Funkenmodular TP-9 please"
All my Internet freinds are here!
That might be the most interesting bunch of kit I've ever seen from a trade show.
This is wonderful. Almost felt like I was there. Thanks.
That lame organ was used by some nobody called Vangelis. I wouldn't pay any attention to it.
💙🤭
“Thank you for watching”? F U! ;) Thank you for filming and uploading. 👍👍✌️

That new make noise module is something special
When he ran the vocals through it, what an incredible sound!
Top hangs ! Was so fun bumping into you :) we need to do this again
Mos def. Great to chat and hang briefly, loved it!

If I like to have some Superbooth vibes during the year I can always come back to this video. Thanks Alex. Was nice to meet you too.
Till next year!!
The best walk-through of Superbooth that I’ve seen. That instrument at 24:16 looks amazing. I want it!
SynthFluencers in the wild at 32 mins lol
37:08
I saw Surgeon perform in Dublin at the end of April and he did indeed have a pulsar drum machine and torso t1 sequencer
Yep he’s been really supportive of both - there’s a good talk he did for Torso on YT if you hunt for it!
Great video. I so want to visit the acidbooth next year.
Lambda Synthetics Poly Pulse, I thought you would be all over that. Did I miss it?
I missed it! Too much stuff and not enough time. 😭
hate to call anything "the best", but you did capture a lot missing from other vids. thank you💙
Your edits are delightful. I wouldn’t quite say cathartic but definitely cognitively pleasing. A good trip. We’ll done!
Love how you and RMR have a similarly askew take on the world.
Bury me in the acidbooth
Same
2:15 there’s the Pittsburgh guy as well
'Lame Organ' 😂
39:02 OK, mounting your pocket operators into your eurorack case is punk rock, squared!
That Buchla cabin in the woods - could there be a better setting?!
"So Junior, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
"I want to be a Knob Considerer!"

The highest praise x
best SB2023 video by far. thanks
That's a nice place you found by the river at the end. We'll have to make a date to go there next year.
That was Holzmarkt on sunday - defo!

“The cake is a lie” 👏👏👏
I have that MP Midi controller on my radar, you saying it really works makes me to want it to
It seemed kinda brilliant and really did work - very interested to test one out.
Spring break for synth nerds!
It really kinda is
awesome to see all the nerds hanging out
Nice Arthur C. Clarke Quote
Immersive video you got there! It felt like the shortest 43 minutes I've watched! Thank you!
Thanks so much 🙌
Best Superbooth vid everrrr. Totally caught the vibe which I don't normally get from these vids! Thank you.
Thanks!! Yeah it’s such a brilliant event, glad to capture it a bit
Fantastic video. I saw that guitarguy on the train too 😂 Superbooth 2023 was great, your video takes me back there. Ace.

Looks damned special. Next year.
It was! An essential trip
Do the gyros have MIDI?
That's the only thing that would make them better
@@mylarmelodies damn, so only cv then? I guess I could still make that work
Took me back there right away! 😁 Vibe captured 👍👍
Thanks Alex - made excellent viewing at the day job.
Excellent journey and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip
I WILL be there next year! No excuses.... Thanks Alex! Great tour!
GR8 vibes....NINA synth sounds tasty.
I don’t ever want to watch anyone else’s event coverage after this!
Yeeeeessss! MS2000 was my first synth too! 🤩
sad I couldn't make it this year, but I went last year and I had a blast. Glad y'all enjoyed yourselves ^^
It was great - see you next year?
@@mylarmelodies I'll try 🙂

Strongly recommend. It’s great
Where'd you go Al?
Right here. Watch this space…. x
41:58 yours truely 😊 #dubonarrival
I loved that filter-y riff you had going (assume that was the Maander?). Saw Daniel Miller was appreciating it too!!
The steady chords riff is Analog keys, the occasional filtery stuff on top is the mighty mäander indeed.
Thanks for letting us enjoy the show with you!
I Do Love Cake and acid.
Palme d’or to Mylar! 😘
The cake is a lie!!! Lol!
Thanks for sharing mate
Thanks for taking us with you ❤
I loved that m8, really nice chilled vid. I need to make a trip there some day….
It’s the best, if that wasn’t obvious!!
man, would've loved to eat a vegan döner with u!
we got next year!
Nice. :)
What a nice event
Thanks
Paul Tas is such a cool guy.
Now imagine sharing a table with him like I did! My mind is melted.
