It does not. The X-Pac is pretty slick. Can’t speak to pet hair since I don’t have pets, but lint hasn’t been a problem for me with this one. Thanks for your question!
My Alpaka Vertex pouch was originally purchased for it's advertised "three-way" capabilities, but it has been serving me quite well, almost solely, as a very useful camera bag. I've been very happy with it. Great video, very informative...persuaded me to buy mine!

Nice review and description of what you carry in the Alpaka Vertex pouch. Alpaka does make some lovely products and I have a bunch of their pouches, HUB accessories, and the Elements Backpack. That backpack has some of the most comfortable straps ever. That small plastic D ring at the bottom on the exterior is for attaching a stabilizer strap when this is carried as a sling. I bought that stabilizer strap too for another sling that I have. For this Vertex Pouch, Alpaka were heavily inspired by the Evergoods CAP2, though they did improve it in some aspects. So, a job well done.

Not at all. SD and USB contain solid state memory, which is unaffected by magnets. Even your old spinning drives need a magnet the size of a soup can to have any effect on them. Been working in tech as the day job for years.
I always worry about the strong magnetic closure in such things with electronic devices and storage devices. It does look like a great sling and organization caddy. The best features for me is the fact the handle and loops for the strap hopefully included are out of the way like this. Second is interior color orange actually allows you to have clearer vision in low light time. So if I am walking around at night and can find tge pockets if needed. Now the weather proof of the things I don't expect it to not get soaked but wonder if so light rain won't get it drenched. Also those zippers how well are they made. I recently bought a sling pouch and after a while the zipper just with a little tug broke.
Zipper are aquaguard YKK, so no worries there. They’re all very solid. As far as magnets - also no worries there. SD cards and USB drives contain solid state memory which is unaffected by magnets. Even the old spinning drives would need a magnet the size of a soup can to be affected by them. That magnet fear is from way back when we used 3 ½ inch floppy disks which WERE very affected by magnets!
I know that a regular Kindle will fit, because I have one myself and have put it in there. I bet that a Kindle oasis would fit also, even though it’s a little bit wider. The iPad and the Kindle both have a tiny bit of headroom at the top, and I bet a wider Kindle oasis would fit in there nicely.
TIP: Note: The central ring on the outside bottom of the bag serves as a connection point for ALPAKA's Magnetic Stabilizer Strap. This strap links from the central sling strap, typically positioned at the sternum when the bag is worn on the back, to the central ring.

I rock a more tactical style bag Maxpedition Proteus and it is simple and excellent for my style and gear. But this Alpaka is 100% my next bag, I love the desktop open top feature, it is a really smart design. Thanks for the video, very useful.
I could see this pouch being useful when I travel for work. It would be perfect for my electronics charging cords and extra-colored pens for presentations. I can also see stashing a mini flashlight in there for emergencies. I would still have to carry my wallet.
No it won’t fit anything screen size past about 8 inches or so. An iPad Air has an 11-inch (diagonal) screen. Definitely will fit both Switch and Switch Lite - I’ve carried them both in this bag. Thanks for your question!
Ok so that's the catch. I did not accurately say this in the video and I apologize. The Dockcase, while very cool, is just an enclosure. You have to provide your own M.2 drive. However, that means you could choose any storage you want - 256GB up to 4TB I believe. And the speed is very very good on my 1TB drives.
An A5 would be a tad tight in the very back compartment, but an iPad mini is almost that size and it fits well with room to spare. So I think it would. Thanks for your question!

I’m hoping they will release it in their Axoflux green. Currently I have the tech case max, which is very similar, but it doesn’t have the fold down flap and the dividers aren’t tiered in height. Definitely going to sell it and pick up a vertex when they go retail.
This looks like a beefed up version of the Bellroy desk caddy which I didn’t love. This looks like it fixes all the issues I had with that. Can’t wait to order when it’s released!
I love alpaka slings but man they are pricey (not as pricey as nutsac or belroy, but still) I keep leaning towards tomtoc. If I get back into the IT field I will definitely get one of these.

You really are not in the planner tube, it is pronounced Hobo-knee-chee for Hobonichi. Love the bag, depending on price i may just stick with other Japanese desk caddies, like the hobonichi or Kokomo, even though they cannot convert to sling bags. I got one sling bag that I love and the two peak designs pouches, the Dopp kit one, which I use for an expanded tech pouch, and the tech pouch. Both of which I would wear as a sling bag. However this one is nice, but I house the larger A5 cousin from Hobonichi.
No. This is made for smaller tablets, 8 inches diagonal and below. A Nintendo Switch will fit in it though. Alpaka sells pouches that fit 11 and 13 inch iPad sizes already I believe.

Old floppy disks used magnetic memory and could be wiped easily by a small magnet, but even spinning hard drives have to have a super powerful magnet the size of a soup can to demagnetize a drive. So small SSD drives or SD cards in this pouch will not be affected by those magnets. Sorry, my day job is computers and I’m a nerd.

The HUB is a modified key ring system, I don't see how that's HUB related, what am I missing..
You could fit a smaller pew pew in there. I’ve put my G43 in there, as well as a full-size G19. Won’t fit inside the holsters for bigger pew pews though.

Haha you should see one of my next videos… This one though is more of an organizer than a fanny pack/sling bag. And it is the BEST at it. You could use this as a camera bag, full urban EDC bag, gaming bag - whatever. It’s phenomenal and honestly the price tag is right where it’s supposed to be in my opinion.

I think Alpaka copy the case opening can fold half way from a Japanese Kokuyo brand, Kokuyo has this style of pen case call Haco Haco for many years.

You’re absolutely right about the orange interior - it is wonderful for visibility.
The fact that it supports an ipad mini is a major positive. I wonder which ereaders it would fit, like a Kindle Oasis or something like that.

The pocket sized Dockcase 1TB is crazy. They cheap too. Is there really a 1-2TB on it and does the speed actually go over 1GB?
