Awesome video, i grew up in Bonnie Doon and then moved to Delatite. We had horse’s and went up the mountains with our horses. Much faster in the car, i really enjoyed seeing the huts again, thank you for taking me home again. I wish i was there right now. Stay safe out there, i do hope you have a SAT phone or EPIRB. ❤❤❤❤
Mate, great work filming it all. I’m going solo with my son in April and appreciate the track info. It’s nice to see others giving it a go too. Thanks again.
What a great way to showcase our amazing country side, the views were so stunning. I could feel the cold by watching you and surrounding ground. The creek crossings are something I really love doing too apart from going along all those wonderful tracks. I loved the video, good job , keep doing your adventures so I can come along with you in your videos. 👍👍
Totally agree! The water crossing were so much fun too, I must've went through about 50 of them (can't film them all haha). Thank you for the comment 😀
Some beautiful country out there, a bit disappointed at the end though, I used to visit Dago back in my younger days and I was hoping to see what it looked like now, great trip though thank you.
Cheers mate, yeah that was the aim to try and keep viewers informed... a lot of people watch these videos as research for their own trips too. Thanks for the comment, Grant 👍
@@OverlandUnknown exactly why I like them, good insight for people who might want to do a similar trip but might be overwhelmed with how to go about it.
What month of the year was that? Great trip and good filming , keep up the good work . Winch , twin locked and big muddies for the next trip . Gives you the confidence to tackle the hard stuff.
Great trip loved the videos I’ve just purchased my 1st Nav are you running a suspension upgrade lift etc ??? your Nav Sat real well over the terrain that you crossed cheers
Thinking of doing the same in a Triton with ATs. Did you end up doin it? I reckon it looks achievable but there's a lot of the track that wasn't filmed :)
Great trip and video mate. Are you on road full time? I’m about to start solo lap in a few weeks. By the look there’s a lot of solo people having the time of their lives. 🍻
Hey mate, Na, not on the road fulltime, I would love to be though. I do a bit of solo cause the misses works and I enjoy my own company. Awesome mate, how long are you planning on doing the solo lap?
@@OverlandUnknown I’m in same situation. Missus will be solid working for at least two years in a new role so I’ve got 2 years up my sleeves to explore. (She’ll meet up with me when can).

What a fantastic adventure! Fun terrain and just an incredible backcountry to explore.
It certainly was! A place I have to go back and further explore. I only saw a tiny bit of the high country. Hope you guys are well 😀
A great end to the trip, see you out there on day👍
Thanks Mick, it certainly was an epic trip. It's on the list to do again one day. Will do mate 👍, cheers.
Great trip. Would love to go Mansfield to Dargo with the camper trailer and the dog. May have to find a different route though.

I think I did about 30 Creek crossing in just one day. Crooked River Track has so many!!
Nice mate, can’t wait to go there, was planning to do it a couple of weeks ago but didn’t feel comfortable with the weather and gear I had. 👍🇦🇺
yeah that's understandable mate, I left the day before the big snowfall. Cheers for the comment mate.
Really like your videos mate, simple and good little bits of information like track names and what range 4wd/ gear you are doing

Awesome, might do this exact route. Any seasonal road closures?
It's a great route mate, I highly recommend it. There is seasonal gate closures on this route. You'll need to view the Vic High Country website

Awesome footage, heading down there next April, this video really helped with my planning, thank you. What month were you there?
That's great to hear mate. I went towards the end of May, start of June. Just before all the seasonal gate closures. Thank you for the comment 👍
Hey mate watched a few of your vids and have enjoyed them. Do you have a long range tank or do you take jerries?
G'day mate, I have a standard sized fuel tank. I usually take a spare 20lt jerry with me in bigger trips. Cheers for watching 👍
Great video mate really liked it and very informative well done, question if I may, has the navara got a lift on it or standard? Appreciated
Cheers mate. I'm running a 2" front and rear with 32" tyres. 👍

Great video mate, how much fuel did this trip use?
Great question mate. I used over 3/4 of a tank from Mansfield to Dargo Pub, so approximately 55 litres from memory.
