That sliding blade part is how the one I built a few yrs ago works , but I used a 28” dia carbide tipped saw blade, I need to add the pusher part, that is a nice touch!
When do we get to see the video on You Tube where someone tries to remove a tree with a lopsided growth and the tree uses the frame as the fulcrum point and topples on the tractor driver
@@fivestring4653 A very useful but very dangerous machine in the hands of unskilled operators. Wondered why they did not Scarf one side first and finish the cut from the opposite side. Or just cut it higher up then tidy up the stump from two sides.
This company also made a stump grinder. I bought one 30 years ago. Best stump grinder I have had. I have owned several other brands. This one shown is for cutting down trees. It had a push bar on top. I think the company is out of business now. To bad as the products were quality.
Needed a wider view of what was going on, that's a lot of tree your cutting off and it's getting ready to tip the wrong direction, I can only guess that other bar was holding pressure against the tree the whole time for it to not fall toward the tractor.

Appreciate the video but I think I'll just hire a pro to cut it down. No crushed operators. tractors etc.
I like the idea of this stump cutter a lot Affordable.
But a 3-point hitch forestry mulcher on the back of a tractor will be more efficient. Expensive

One of the most dangerous things I've ever seen.
Agreed. I wonder how many people attempted to cut down too large a tree and had it end up on top of them.
That’s impressive!
