I have this saw made by Brown but they are almost the exact same. On bigger trees cut them high first to get the tree out of the way and then cut the stump. Cutting with the saw level is best to keep blade from pinching. A hydraulic top link is a HUGE help with these saws.
They have saws like that around here on skidsteer to clear the western red cedars which will take over if let to. Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work
I have one of these Turbo saws in Australia cutting down eucalyptus trees, very hard and very heavy trees . I am clearing the paddocks that are similar to those in the video but these are called widow makers and after a near miss of one dropping on the tractor I now cut the larger trees about 4 foot of the ground and remove the stump with the saw. (I will post a video soon) Excellent piece of equipment and Dougherty"s were very helpful and pleasant to deal with, from dealing with my enquiry to my aussie accent, preparing the shipping down under.
All you had to do to make that more successful and easier would have been to shorten your top link arm about two threads that would have made the difference
Turbosaw makes skid steer models that are hydraulic, and a PTO model that has a grapple, but yours is strictly PTO, I would suggest editing the title and description.
Hi Reap What You Seaux . I would have bet money that we were already friends. Well, we are now .You are just having too much fun. What a great piece of equipment

Nice video, interesting implement. Wonder how it does on hard wood trees. I could use that on some Cedars.
