I just got a vr for christmas and ive felt like ive needed a bit more exsercise lately but its hard getting the motivation to actually go do it, but watching this and seeing what you can actually do in vr, I think this might be a great and comfortable start to a health journey! I just have one question, whats that table tennis game called? It looks pretty fun and I do like table tennis in real life and would love to try it in vr.
Almost 3 years with beat saber, and I am so much more healthy. I'm 53 with the cardio of a twenty-nine-year-old. At least that's what my PAI app says. I have had heart troubles, and some of the other stuff that comes with obesity. Three years later I weigh less, with a lot more muscle! I feel that during the pandemic, taking on an exercise routine may have saved my life.
Nothing has made me sweat more in vr than gorilla tag, and it's not even close. For context I am already very fit and regularly run 35+ miles a week, and yet am always surprised how worked up gorilla tag can get you once you start to become somewhat skilled in the game. However that said, I personally don't realistically see myself replacing running with vr workouts anytime soon.
Nice to see the update, especially with the more affordable option! Have you been working in VR much, or just using it for play? Your 7 day video was fairly convincing, but it’s a lot of money, and a relatively short period of time You’re definitely making me lean towards buying a headset, but I just need to be a bit more confident it can work professionally. Thanks
Personally I’d wait to see what the quest 3 brings. The PSVR2 comes out end of Feb with higher quality lenses and better processing power but for less than a Quest Pro. I’d wait to see what price and specs the 3 has to see where to spend any money! But yes I have still been working in VR, it’s been fab for socialising whilst at home 😀
Hey dude, just take one tiny drop of dishwashing liquid, spread it onto both lenses and lightly polish them with the fine micro cloth that came with your headset. No fog whatsoever during a training session.
@@PeteMatheson Haha it's a method suggested by another RUclipsr and online, it works really well. But I do see there's others online warning against it. Maybe it differs from headset to headset.
Yeah with my Vitality insurance, they give you a watch on finance for 1-2 years, then as long as you do 30m exercise 5x a week they'll pay the finance off!
Your gym kinda has an agenda here lol. If the app tells someone they are healthy then they might not keep paying for a gym membership. They are financially motivated to tell everyone they are unhealthy and need to pay for a gym. Membership.
Do you think you'd ever use VR to workout?
Yesirr
RUclips in 2050 : I spent 24 hours in real life
“…hardest 24 hours of my life! 😖”
🤣 Not far off eh
You. Are. A. Comedic. Genius.
I spend 3 hours without electronics 🤣
@@username15367 try 8 hours at work with no electronics.

Dude I've just seen this comment - that's awesome! Well done!
I'm 29 with the cardio of a 53, thinking about buying a vr set to exercise, your comment really helped convincing me, thank you!!

Thrill of the fight is my go too. The only time I get more tired is running back to back sprints. Turn the difficulty up and go full speed haha.
I’ve definitely gotten so winded up, i almost threw up in thrill of the fight 😂

Man I really want to try this but it sounds like a bad idea!? haha

Nice job!!
Awesome video
Thank you man!
Lots of work on this one, apparently it missed the mark though, so thanks for watching it! Haha
you got a free watch for working out? wow
totally worth it. I would do it with the weighted vests.

@@PeteMatheson this sounds like a great motivational tool to workout
Sure is! I'm a sucker for freebies
What app is the screenshot from at the beginning
It's one called Boditrax, a system my Gym uses

Am I blind? I was looking for the link to the app that gives you health insurance perks and never found it.
It's there! But it's also here: 🛒 VITALITY HEALTH INSURANCE: geni.us/OPb98HK4JR4-8 (Get £100 for signing up)
What lightsaber game is the first one?
looks like vader immortal or one of those meta exclusive star wars games. there are some on PC and some standalone.
Les Mills!
Hhmmm there is no difference. I can’t see any progress, no gain on muscles.
