Thx for the review. Got a green serrated one in LC200. It cuts like a champ. Still starting to put it through the paces. My old serrated one in H-1 is still going. Has performed for many years and cut Lots of things. Great tool.
There is no comparison between the box cutting efficiency of the Pacific Salt 2 serrate edge and the Endura 4 standard edge. The Salt makes short work of heavy boxes and the serrate blade is begging for more more! On the other hand, the Endura 4 starts out slicing strong, but starts to fade a dozen boxes in and requires a touch up on the stone to get it back up to spec. As an EDC, EITHER would be an excellent choice, but I'd give the first place to the Salt for lightness and the serrated blade that would destroy tissue compared to simply slicing through it.
I just bought the Pacific Salt, just like you have. Going to be my river knife. I want that Matriarch!
Linerless is only for the sea, for proper defence liners are vital.

I love back locks. Thanks for the great review.
Good review 👌
Btw the H1 serrations are better than the plain edge H1
Say what?
Wanted to get the plain edge, but after seeing the serrated I think Ill get that version
Serrated is an awesome EDC option!
H1 in spyderedge is stellar ! You should try it ...
The pacific salt never had liners, none of the frn salt knives have liners
Good point that was my mistake
Weird question. Why is the new Pacific Salt 2 lighter than the older version?
Because they got rid of the stainless steel liners, now it's just FRN
Good review keep um coming
Thx Patrick 👊
Great knife! Where did you get this from?
I got mine from gpknives
The serrations look too aggressive... otherwise, looks like a great work knife.
@Rick Koontz Haha, if only... more pointy serrations just make snagging more of an issue. Spyderco serrations seem to vary between models.
