RGT clips are great for the CRK knives. The original CRK clips dig into the palm of my hand sometimes and could be uncomfortable.

I love titanium and enjoy Emersons, but titanium liners for a liner lock aren't ideal especially since I don't think he carbidizes the lock face. That's the main reason why I sold my commander years ago + the lock stick/ware was getting so bad.

Thanks for posting a video about the ORJ! I have a newer and redesigned run of the ORJs which to me are much better overall! But the first run of ORJs were still great, especially for the price. Appreciate the support and thank you for everything!

I got the CS Ak47 (Fixed Blade) in 3V. I didn't think I'd like it too much, but when I held it in my hand, I realized what an incredible blade it actually was. It's an actual tank of a knife that is designed not to come out of your hand in a slippery situation. I just ordered a 2nd CS Ak47. Midway usa has them for under $120.... Other manufacturers charge nearly $400 for similar sized blades in 3V.

Go 1/2 size up in the AB cuz it is the best made boot out of the 3 to be honest. No to boots fit the same.

I usually carry a Spyderco of some sort while I'm close to home because they have better cutting geometry, But the recon 1 is in my pocket whenever I go 20 minutes walking distance from my house, because I know I can depend on it for survival. Not working today and a Spyderco Endela in PD 1 steel is in my pocket, tomorrow I work and I drive about an hour from home so the Recon will be with me.

Thursday should try to distinguish itself from being a Viberg 310 copy and put a lug sole or commando sole on these. Btw we are same size foot. Wonder if you have issues with people’s sizing info a lot. Like you, I also need to often order TTS. Half down almost never works for me.

you need the 30 dollar "Flissa Premium titanium utility knife" and the 25 dollar "Workpro premium titanium utility knife" and maybe even a 5 dollar "workpro stainless steel button lock 3 pack utility knife". the flissa one tho comes in g10 or aluminum. i like the aluminum one

i got these same boots. the wickett and craig leather just hit me as being quite stunning. honestly i think these clearly share dna with the viberg 310 and the nail shank by kreosote. i believe that after one has amassed a bit of a collection a different take on the toe is refreshing. the heel slant is interesting but doesn't seem to different in height when compared to my 310's. i thought the price was great, it always pains me a little to buy boots outside of my comfort zone of usa, canada, and western europe. i am glad that thursday is using awesome leathers and higher quality internal components. i like what they are doing with black label and i am very happy with these boots.

Thanks for this! I had almost the same experience except that for me sizing down worked out. But the unboxing experience was great, the heel is questionable, but I like the 310 style silhouette enough to forgive the heel. I noticed a lot of the black label lasts have that odd sloped heel, even the challenger and thunder. It's just less noticeable because they're higher. I don't guess Thursday knows quite how to do a PNW style arch.

Just not feeling the bulky toe box, the lack of a proper heel stack. These aren't 4 me.

That heel is embarrassing. Forgot its height, which is heavily preference-but that last is a joke. There is no arch at all and it just becomes a ramp for your foot to slide down. They really get it 95% of the way there and messed up the most important factor.

Just bought the snaggletooth back spacer for my Recon 1 clip point. Definitely gonna get the snaggletooth for it too but he's all out of the green color ones. I thought the snaggletooth was made from 6061 aluminum? Are they plastic?

Great video I had the same problem I had to order two sizes and went a half size up, 11.5 to 12 my toe was touching the end

I like the toe shape, but I wear a EEE width, so I can't take a chance one a non-wide shoe even if I size up. Only Jim Greeves has a wide enough "normal" last for me.

100% agree with you about the heel. That was the first thing I saw on this model on the website. I don’t know why it’s so tiny, it would be such a better boot with a 1/2 to 3/4 inch heel. Otherwise its a super handsome boot
