FABULOUS video! These Fude pens have been a revelation to me over the past few years of using them. My drawings have a liveliness of line now that was somewhat missing before. May your nibs always be wet!!!🙏
Love these pens! I have the green 55 and also the 40 in pink, brown, and blue. My everyday ink is DeAtramentis Document Black, which is waterproof and works better in fountain pens for me than the Carbon ink. I never leave home without at least one of these, and I use them for drawing and handwriting. I also have the Sailor Profit with 55 degree nib but it doesn’t reverse write as smoothly as the Fude de Mannen…maybe just a fluke. I plan to get another to try again because I prefer having a clip on the pen.
I have the green 55 and blue 40. I like drawing with them but they are really long and unfortunately dry out so fast (not because of using up ink but has a bad seal), unlike the twsbi. I also have the regular shorter size blue that is 40 and its parts are interchangeable with the other two long pens, meaning it can be used with the 55 bottom without messing around with the nib. The shorter blue pen also holds ink better without prematurely drying out. My favorite fine line is the platinum desk pen and for line variation the Uniball air micro, i dont leave home without them.
Hi 👋 yes I’m in Texas and there’s a little mom and pop shop online. It’s a little dated but the husband answers the phone and they got the brushes to me quickly. Packaged really well! It’s called Wind River Arts
Thank you so much! This is great information, I'll definitely search for them! Even better if I can find these brushes and support independent businesses! @@2tinytreasures
Thank you so much for your fine detailed demo. I'm an artist too! I mainly do watercolours on my RUclips channel @amyiiarts. I want to buy a good fountain pen for my art. I couldn't decide which one (>_
I'm trying to decide what fountain pen to start up with and it's not easy. 😊 I want to get a round Kakimori brass nib for drawing and some pen to write and draw with. This was a nice comparison! 😇🩵🙏🙌
Kakimori nib is a great dip pen! Very different from the feel of a fountain pen. But it’s great for drawing. My first pick for drawing would definitely be this green fude nib.

You like measuring! 😂
Thank you! This was so very useful to help me decide which angle I needed!
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you for these pointers! Much appreciated…I will have to check those out.
Thank you for the comparison & details review. It was really helpful. Beautifully done video.
Glad it could help :)

Thank you for your in depth video. Have you found how to order replacement nibs?
What's that brass pen you have on your notebook? it's gorgeous!
Thank you 😊 it’s a travelers company brass pen from Starbucks Reserve Tokyo. However, regular ones can also be purchased on Amazon
Great info! I have the 40’ pen. Have been tempted to get both.
Are you based in the US? If so, can you share where you got your Rosemary & Co brushes?
